I'm surprised there isn't more excitement about Kurt Angle

Lets see a SummerSlam 01 or Unforgiven 01. Add his 2005 look as well.

Im excited for Kurt Angle figures. Also for Hardy figures. And a Goldberg that doesn't come with a high priced Lite Brite ring accessory.

But I'm not going to run around like a chicken with my head cut off screaming "When? When? WHEN?"

I will buy them when they are released and that will make me happy.

There are really too many different series that is causing oversaturation. For example, my Target's isles are mostly made up of Tough Talking figures, Mutants, Zombies and NXT Basics that it leaves little room for the standard Battle Packs, Basics & Elites. But in general, there are just too many series and store exclusives.

The WWE product itself is absolutely terrible that I'm not excited as I have been in the last few years. I can't be excited about a product that is largely made up of current WWE superstars when I have zero to very little interest in it.

Mattel's themselves haven't given me the excitement I felt when I first saw them in 2010 on the shelves. The lack of cloth t-shirts as a regular accessory, those awful plastic bullet-proof vest replacements, the constant little mistakes, etc.

Lastly, Mattel's distribution with the figures being so behind or thin when they hit stores has a lot to do with it. If I know I won't see this in person on time with everyone else and will largely see this when people post pictures from their online orders then I can't be that excited for it. My stores rarely get more than 1-2 cases of a current or new series and if they do its a while in between shipments.

I am excited that its a legend status wrestler getting a first time in the line Mattel, but that is just a small spike in excitement that is constantly diminished by the products overall.

To summarize, there are far too much negative things surrounding WWE & Mattel that I can't find myself getting excited like I used to. I'll enjoy seeing the new figures at Ringside Fest like I did at SDCC, but that will quickly fade.

It's almost a guarantee we will get a GM Kurt like Foley and D-Bry. Kurt's Gm attire will probably be in a battle pack with Jason Jordan

I am very excited for Angle and Hardy Boys figures. Also I want to hear news about another Goldberg elite.

I loved through all their primes and concur angle is definitely in the conversation. If the attitude era is the best era, he was the guy that best combined character and work in that time, so he's an all time great for my money.

On topic I'm very excited to add a couple of kurts to my collection.

Love Kurt, but not crazy about that figure. I'm hoping we see a bald version at RSF.
