Can anyone give me simple step by step instructions on how to take a picture I have uploaded to flickr, and share it in a message on this board. I used to know how to do this with photobucket, but I see that's no longer an option.
Appreciate any help!

To post an image on this site, put your direct link to the image between the opening and closing IMG code. You can use common image formats such as .jpg, .gif, & .png. Example #1: [img]http://media.tumblr.com/c6809edd36bc4112e444bd40c63309c2/tumblr_reply_mgfxy9icgP1qzhzue.jpg[/img]See how there is an opening img code between brackets before the direct link to the image, followed by a /img in brackets following the direct link to the image? And note too how the direct link to the image ends in .jpg? If you put that in a post, you will get this:  Example #2: [img]http://i.imgur.com/xZungls.gif[/img]And if you put that into a post, you will get this:  |

Thanks guys, but I'mm not sure I understand. For example, flickr is giving me this address when I go to share a photo: flic.kr/p/CybBpf but when I paste in the URL after clicking the picture button you all referred to, nothing happens at all. Sorry, I'm really internet illiterate at times, but I appreciate your help. |
