They do, but they’re in their against HHH. Plus Roode saw it fail when Nakamura did it just minutes earlier. Why book him like an idiot by doing the exact same thing? And I’d be saying the same damn thing if they pulled that crap against anyone from the Raw team (gotta lay off the HHH-defense thing cause he is a troll in the end). Nobody can claim that Naka and Roode look better after going through this match. Heck they look worse IMO with the way they were booked like they couldn’t hang with the rest of em. I can't argue that Roode & Nakamura looked bad last night. But neither were beat up by Triple H (gotta lay off the HHH-bashing thing cause he had lil to no offense in that match). And the lil he did, you complained anyhow. Triple H screwing over Angle & Shane was done so Braun can get a bigger pop after destroying him. And also to set up future storylines. The show ended with Triple H flat on his back. I asked last night and didn't get an answer, but don't Nakamura & Roode BOTH pose often during matches? I seem to recall it happening in every match they've both had recently. Or let me guess, if it had been anyone else from RAW hitting them, it have been okay? They do, but they’re in their against HHH. That pretty much proves my point. Thanks. Go to any site or forum and you’ll see that the majority of fans hated the ending. The fans in attendance were dead for the second half of that match once they realized what was happening. Youre just upset because fans aren’t eating this up like you did. Cool you liked it. Don’t call others “complainers” because we felt differently. We’re calling the WWE out on this BS. HHH going over in 2017 to end a major PPV is dreadful. There was already a lot of talk going into the match about the WWE failing to make new stars with the youngest guy in the match being 36. They then have the three oldest guys make it to the final 4. The bottom line is that the ending sucked and they didn’t even try to quell the issue that they’ve failed to make new stars besides push Roman down our throats.

Kurt Angle just needs to stop being in the ring, he looks so lost and slow and fragile...

Overall, I enjoyed the show. MOTN for me was probably New Day vs Shield, followed by Lesnar/Styles - looks like Brock can still put on a good match when he can actually be bothered.

When in reality, they both taunt often in matches & Triple H did very little to either guy.

Dude, really? AJ is the best wrestler of a generation, one of the best of all time imo and you're disappointed he wasn't squashed because of his size? What are you talking about? He WAS squashed. I was disappointed that the match was made to begin with. AJ might be a great wrestler but it take two to dance. Aj and Brock's styles didnt seem to match to me. AJ was flipping and jumping around and Brock was slow and all power. Maybe Brock couldnt keep up? He looked very winded at the end. The point is guys can be great wrestlers but it doesnt mean they should be pushed to the top. Iron Mike Sharpe, Barry Horrowitz, Brooklyn Brawler, all great wrestlers. They did great jobs, but they werent pushed. Im not saying Aj should be jobbed out like the aforementioned but he also shouldnt be at the top. I see him in a Tito Santana Role. This is the oddest take I’ve seen on here in a long time......

The booking of that main event was about as much of a cluster as how the whole PPV was thrown together. It was heartbreaking seeing Kurt in that state, and he looked like he was hating every minute of it. Even his entrance he wasn't doing his normal Kurt Angle stuff, it just seemed so strange. He's my all time favourite, but it's just too little too late in his case. He can barely run the ropes anymore, he's declined so quickly. He was vouching to come to WWE for years, but they've just left it too late. I'd be absolutely shocked if he has a singles Match at Wrestlemania now. I'd have love to have seen him get the HOF and just simply have one singles match at Wrestlemania, but his return has been wasted and the novelty of him has pretty much worn off. They sold him out on having him return at TLC, but at least they protected his all American Gimmick for a later date. We got it last night, and he was hugely exposed. I guess Triple H screwing Angle leaves a seed planted if they wanted to potentially visit that story at a later date, but at the same time it can also be left at Triple H just wanting to finish the Match himself. The whole Main Event just had nothing riding on it, there was no reason for anyone watching to invest, other than seeing a load of big names in the ring at the same time. It's hard to tell whether they made sure they kept their respective Raw & Smackdown T Shirts on to protect future feuds down the line, or because it was such a last minute throw together that they just had to remind those watching who is on who's team.
As for AJ Styles vs Brock Lesnar, this was in my opinion, another dream match thrown down the gutter. I am Lesnar's biggest fan, but his routine has really died flat in the water. This could have been a 5 star classic at a Wrestlemania, with AJ consistently refusing to give up, surviving beast mode and taking Lesnar back to his old bell-to-bell roots to do what it takes. But instead, we just got a pretty standard Match. In a way I'm glad it wasn't DQ'd and it had a clean finish, but the fact it had a clean finish makes me wish they had just gone all out.

I’m apalled that somehow Kurt Angle, who has the mobility of a statue, got cleared and Daniel Bryan is still on the shelf.
Angle looked awful last night.

Was anyone else disappointed that Angle kept his Raw shirt on during the match? His costume looked cool and it's a shame that we didn't properly see it.
Also Nakamura and Roode were a huge let down and that was nothing to do with HHH. They were in a match with Legends and they posed more than they wrestled.

For WWE standards, a pretty good show. Same old corporate selfishness once again though. New Day/Shield or Lesnar/AJ should've been the main event.

Overall, I thought it was a pretty good show. Some good matches on there. Definitely worth ordering on Blu-Ray. Matt Hardy losing to Elias was a complete joke. I'm sorry, but Elias has no business beating a legend like Matt Hardy. Horrible booking. Plus, why was this even a match? Literally no storyline behind it at all. What was the point? Becky Lynch being immediately eliminated was a complete joke. It's just ludicrous how badly they've booked her for the past year with how talented she is. Baron Corbin beating the Miz really surprised me. I fully expected the Miz to win. I had the biggest smile on my face when Alexa Bliss finally lost. Sick of her at the moment, so the sooner WWE stop superpushing her to infinity, the better. They did it for Charlotte, so now I'm just waiting for them to cool it with Alexa. Then when they give it a rest for a few months, I can start to enjoy her performances again, just like I'm able to enjoy Charlotte's once again. AJ VS Brock started off so badly. I thought it was awful how AJ suddenly turned into a jobber for the first few minutes. It may as well have been James Ellsworth that Brock was tossing around. It should not have been entirely one-sided for so long. Thankfully they eventually turned it into something decent. I honestly don't see why people are making such a big deal of the main event ending. I thought it was good. The audience is totally behind Braun Strowman, so turning him face and having him rebel against the Authority seems like the smart thing to do. I'm just disappointed with how Bobby Roode didn't really get a chance to shine.

I mean any defender of HHH... wake the up, that main event absolutely sucked. He put himself over and “put over” Braun, except he didn’t. Complete waste of everyone involved. Huge opportunity to build the new stars completely deleted and they may as well release all of them. They’re worthless. Disgusted by the whole thing. And the show totally fell apart with that match.

I’m apalled that somehow Kurt Angle, who has the mobility of a statue, got cleared and Daniel Bryan is still on the shelf. Angle looked awful last night. Probably to move merchandise. If they bring Kurt back as a manager/commissioner/commentator only younger fans won't be familiar with him so they're less likely to buy his merchandise. But if they see him in the ring with current wrestlers, younger fans will be more likely to seek out his merchandise and make wwe more money. I don't know how well D Bryan merchandise sold but if his peg warming figures are an indicator, he wasn't selling very well. So if he's not selling well why not let him rest and possibly bring him back later. Hopefully he'll be better and fans will be nostalgic and clamour for his return.

Another tidbit about the main event that astounded me: 3 of the final four competitors (chosen by Creative) had wrestled 5 matches total in the last calendar year. Shane accounted for 3, and Angle's was a result of an impromptu substitution.
And I'm not 100% on this, but I can't imagine anyone besides Braun are considered active in-ring talent kayfabe-wise.
