Kind of curious what you guys think; if TLC was a Smackdown brand PPV do you think WWE would have went out of their way and cleared Bryan to return, if even for that one night?
I honestly never saw WWE clearing Kurt to return to action. Just watching him in the ring cutting promos, he looked like he could barely stand up straight. Bryan says he is healthy and will probably return to wrestling after his WWE contract runs out.
Or do you think they just found guys to fill in for the available spots?

No neck injuries are too serious.

No neck injuries are too serious. What neck injury? Bryan's neck injury was cleared up YEARS ago. That had literally nothing to do with his retirement. Also, you know that Kurt Angle just wrestled a match in WWE... right?

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. CM Punk will be back in a WWE ring before Daniel Bryan is.

To replace Roman?
They’d rather lose millions of dollars.
Evidently.

I doubt it. His injuries were due to concussions not his neck.

Anyway if Daniel Bryan retired due to concussions then the last thing the WWE would do is put him in a TLC match.

Aren't the Shield on Raw, so why would they compete on a Smackdown PPV?

I didnt know anything about WWE not allowing Angle to wrestle again, I also dont remember reading anything on here about him not being able to return to the ring, in fact I remember the opposite, with people trying to guess when he would make his in-ring return and who his opponent would be...
Daniel Bryan's tweet was literally the first time I'd heard WWE didnt originally want Angle back in the ring..
If Anything they'd have got Shane out for another match.

I really hope they do KO/Sami v. Shane/Bryan at Mania. Even if they make Shane do the majority and just have DB get the hot tag and hit the kicks and the running knee for the win, no dives or anything wild.
They can do it safely and it would probably make the guy 100% more happy in his workplace environment. Plus it would be such an amazing moment to see him back.
Seriously though they have thrown guys like Bret Hart, Tommy Dreamer, Jimmy Snuka, Piper, etc.... out there at huge risks. I think a simple tag match with zero risk would be highly beneficial for both sides involved.

I'd love to see it but I don't think he'd be happy coming back just to do that. He'd want to do all the flying headbutts and dives and missile dropkicks. They'd never let him do that again in WWE - and they couldn't trust him to not do it when he's out there in the trunks.

He's said more than once that he had been working to completely readapt his style to protect his head if they were to ever clear him. In fact, he demonstrated it on an episode of Total Bellas last year.
