I might go to target and see if I can talk to the store manager to see if they will let me have them or greatly discount them and then Ill toss them into the toys for tots bin. Just get them out of here already.

I swear I counted 15 at one of my Targets. Hell send them to Tito. Isn't he a teacher now? He can give them to his students that get straight A's or make honor roll. When I last saw him he was the owner of a hair salon.

Honestly, and I know I’m in the minority on this. I say do away with putting legends from the early nineties and prior in any of the retail lines. And instead release them as ringside exclusives.
At the end of the day folks the prices on ringside are more than fair all things considering. AND their can be some control in terms of how many are produced and sold. Meaning these “collector” items will finally be collector items.

They already did go on clearance. For the most part it looked like they got rid of all the Titos but then they raised the price back to the regular amount to stock in new sets. Among the new sets some old sets were put out again and Tito was left over again. I bought several Titos, it's a great figure. I guess younger kids didnt want Tito? Maybe if they released a matching Martel figure demand for this Tito would spike.

Mattel and Target should do a mail away. Purchase two Titos and they will send you a Martel head, two Strike Force t-shirts, and a lighting bolt decal to put over the sombrero on the trunks.

The sad part is Tito was hands down the best figure in that assortment. IDK about this. Bang for your Buck wise the best figure was Yokozuna, he came with 2 title belts. Me being a huge Hogan fan, I'd say the best figure was Hogan because it made me happiest. Eddie and Tito are great figures tho so it's hard to really say which is best, IMO. Side Note I love when I buy a figure at Target using the self checkout. A big figure like Yokozuna always sets off that "unexpected item in the bagging area" alert.

The only thing that would have made him better would have been if they either made a Strikeforce Martel to go with it or if he was in blue or red trunks and came with the Intercontinental Championship. Yoko was a repaint with a new head. Eddie was his best figure, but still a repaint. And Hogan was my least favorite of the group because of the part choices.

I disliked how skinny the Hogan figure is BUT I appreciate it because it's true to life. True in that there was a time where Hogan was much smaller than he had previously been. So I don't hate the figure because it's cool to have a figure that kind of reflects how smaller Hogan had become. And also it's a change up from the usual Hogans. Really, with me, you cant give me enough Hogans.

Also, Repaints get a bad wrap and I dont get it. It's obvious that a toy company wants to use the parts it makes. So I can see why they would repaint and re-release Yokozuna. As an avid collector you might already have that figure in a different color but for casual customers this maybe be their first chance at getting a Yokozuna or Eddie. I can see why people dislike repaints but at the same time I think they're great. For example look at the Monster Jam toy line. It's basically the same truck over and over and over and over again but with different paint schemes. You might not want back to back Grave Diggers but eventually you'll want the new paint deco.

Really, with me, you cant give me enough Hogans. It wasn't his torso that I had an issue with...it was the legs and the god awful lifting belt. I feel even though he was wearing spandex there should have been some wrinkles molded into the legs sculpt. I mean look at other figure in tights like Taker or Edge. There's usually a wrinkle or two just beneath the thigh muscles and around the knee area. But if memory serves me correctly Hogan's figure had completely smooth looking legs. As for repaints I love them. Hell I have said countless times I wish there was a surfer Sting repaint in every wave of every series Mattel makes. And I said Eddie's was probably my favorite figure of his (until we saw the WCW one at Ringfest last week) But unless there was a surfer Sting repaint in the set I will say 9 times out of 10 a new wanted Legends is better than a repaint of a legend I already have.

When have you ever seen Hogan with wrinkles in his spandex tho? Im looking at the Hogan now, and also an Edge (HOF). Hogan has smooth legs with muscles. Smaller compared to other Hogans. Edge has smooth legs as well but it seems like they wanted to make it seem like Edge has knee pads on under his pants. It's kind of hard to tell on Edge because with the Camo color you cant easily spot the wrinkles. Where as with Hogan's plain red you clearly see the creases.

It's kind of hard to tell on Edge because with the Camo color you cant easily spot the wrinkles. Where as with Hogan's plain red you clearly see the creases. There were some wrinkles at BatB, but I am saying the legs look weird without them. It like they took trunks legs and molded them in red. I am not saying they need to look like he just woke up in them. But look at the GAB Sting legs there is one wrinkle line going across the bottom of his thighs. Then a few on his knees and shins that make it look like he is wearing tights. Without those sculpted lines it looks like his clothes are airbrushed onto his legs instead of looking like they are clothes. The new basic Network Spotlight Sting is the same way as Hogan and his tights look odd also without those wrinkle lines. But let's be honest they are toys and at the end of the day a kid isn't going to care if the tights have wrinkles in them or not. I just feel a little detail like that would have gone a long way on the figure.

They need to take the thousands of unsold tito's and ship them to the man himself or donate them to goodwill/charity.
I am never gonna see any new hof figures at my local store until they do. Still have not gotten in series 4 and doubt I will ever see series 5.

He was a boring wrestler and is a boring figure Damn, you should watch some of his matches from 84-86 (vs. Valentine,Orton & Savage off the top of my head). The crowd was electric for him at times. And I’m serious if anyone has a loose Tito for cheap, I’ll take him off your hands!

I would've bought Lawler. I have only seen him once and the box was destroyed.

I paid regular price for mine. I know they made entirely too many but it's not a bad fig. I would purchase a El matodor Tito if they made it.
