I've seen MOC pics of Alicia. Is she already available in the UK? A lot of UK sites had her for pre order and now have MOC pics of her. Yet she still isn't at TRU. I'm friends with a manager at my local one and she says she hasn't seen Hyde nor hair of her.

I have been vehemently against the Superstars dolls, not because they threaten my masculinity, but because I think its dumb to have this feminist push in wrestling, where you condemn bra and panties matches and try to act like Eva Marie or Nikki Bella are decent role models for young girls, when they are actually less entertaining than Torrie Wilson and Stacy Keibler ever were. The other problem I have had is the downplaying of sexuality with these things. I could deal with longer shorts, but just putting everyone in pants trying to act like T&A arent a part of wrestling? Ive got a problem with that. I know these are for girls (though, by the looks of this thread, there are a ton of adult men buying them) but they just arent being true to the source material.
I am a huge Spice Girls fan, and the Galoob line of Spice Girls dolls was incredibly faithful to them. The outfits were exact replicas of the real thing, and they weren't concerned with toning down the sexier elements. Because of that, I actually own a few sets of the Spice Girls dolls, they are the most accurate and faithful plastic depictions of this thing that I love. These things.......are just not. If that Eva doll was wearing her exact ring gear and had a fabulous entrance jacket I might be into it, but they have redesigned and ruined all of their looks. Bliss is alright, but I need alot more convincing if I'm going to embarass myself by purchasing a doll.

You're glossing over the scrutiny this community inflicts on each other. I have caught plenty of sh*t for being a "diva collecter" over the years. Flashback fans have come under fire recently because all of the Flashbacks Mattel has released are available at a deep discount on Amazon and they have been keeping our shelves warm and toasty. Current fans face scrutiny for not buying the 17th Dean Ambrose that is exactly the same as the last 16. I'm just saying, as an old school wierdo diva fanatic, that I wish these things were more faithful to the source material.

There is nothing in Elites for the next 6 months besides Mickie James in E58. Naomi needs an Elite fosho.

Bliss is alright, but I need alot more convincing if I'm going to embarass myself by purchasing a doll. I'm going to agree with you on a lot of things. While the Spice Girls line kicked butt, and the outfits were defiantly not afraid to offend, we live in a day and age where parents freak over little junk. Back in the 90s, we had belly buttons and legs for days! I also agree that a lot of the doll's outfits are not accurate. I understand that it's basically a fashion doll line. However they are also wrestlers. I would have loved to see all the dolls in the packs with gear and fashion clothes. It makes sense! I'd gladly pay $20 each if each doll came with fashion and wrestling attire. I'm a huge fan of this line. I collect vintage Barbie (an expensive project) so having wrestling dolls is a dream come true. But I think the $15 "basic" doll assortment should be taken out. Eva, Becky and Charlotte should have been in the $20 assortment. As for the retooling (aka shorts, longer midriffs) I'm okay with that. It really doesn't do much so I'm confused as to why Mattel did it. Especially since Barbie wears some coochie cutters sometimes. But it's whatever. Plus, I sew my own wrestling gear for them so I'm not really concerned. My only complaint as of now would be that I wish they could come out quicker lol. I have all the currently released dolls so I'm looking forward for more.....*cough* TEAM ICONICE PLEASE *cough*

Those dolls are going to be as popular as a fart in church. The p.c. manufacturers are going to learn real quick. I have not seen one s.w. doll sell.

I wasn't even thinking of NXT, the thought of a Nikki Cross doll makes me giggle though. Billie, Peyton, Liv Morgan, Aliyah and Mandy Rose seem like inevitabilities though.

Isn't there a rumored Dana Brooke in one of the upcoming basic lineups?

How is it that we have gotten a doll and a superstar action figure of feel the glow naomi but not an actual elite or basic? ?? Because the Doll Line are for the female superstars only (less competition) while the Basic and Elite lines have both (past, present and future) superstars fighting for roster spots.

If they have to dumb them down to make them more appropriate and keep away angry MAWW, so be it. This line is directed towards young girls, not 20 something guys. Barbie has gotten a lot more tame in the past years as well.

I totally understand what you're saying. But couldn't they have squeezed her in instead of another Sasha Banks or another Bayley or another Charlotte? You know what I mean?

Good to see that Mattel remembered that B65 Kevin Owens scan exists. IMO it was a pretty good scan, and probably his second best (behind the E53 one). Now, if only they'd make a Rollins with the Seth Cashes In scan with all black hair...
