What happened to WrestlingWorld.co.uk?
I used to get my figures from these guys from the Jakks RA days until Mattel Elite series 17 when I stopped collecting for a few years. They always seemed to be busy when I went up to them!
Was it competition from Smyth's maybe?

IMO wrestling figures just aren't as sought after as they used to be and that effected Wrestling World greatly. Look at Smyths for example they can barely shift their WWE stuff and flashbacks along with some modern figures are constantly reduced.
For example years back you couldn't walk into a shop and easily find a popular figure but now I could go into Smyths and buy a complete series quite easily. Even my local B&M has Cactus Jacks, Flashback Goldust and even 4 Horseman sets all reduced so the market just isn't as big anymore.
It's a shame because I miss Wrestling World, they were great to get US exclusives from.

I know what you mean about it being easy to get a complete series!

Wrestling World was great! Unfortunately these days the prices are much higher and the quality far lower in my opinion.

They were the ones who used to buy stuff in early like Ringside and price up at higher prices, just like many others do now?. Before I discovered Smyths I did used to buy figures from them and ebay for the firts 3 years at least of Mattel figures.

They did have some good prices though, I still regret not buying CS Sensational Sherri for £3.

I only ever used them when stuff was dirt cheap, and hence they no longer exist....
Disagree with the comments re wrestling figures not being sought after...... agree with the price being too expensive. And that is nothing to do with Mattel, that is Brexit for you.
And it's across the board from MacBooks to Nike trainers.

Speaking of "sought after", has anyone managed to order an Alexa Bliss from Smyths? I had to check each day for them to come back in and managed to place an order before they sold out again. I can't remember the last time a current non special edition figure was so difficult to get hold of.

The overall cost of wrestling figures went up, which meant their prices went up. People were already struggling to keep up at general retail prices, and the Wrestlingworld mark-ups were just too high to stay in business.

Since they were based in Northern Ireland, I was able to go down to their physical store quite often. First things I ever bought in there were that Sherri and the Ringside Fest Macho King for a grand total of (drumroll please...) £12.99!!! Also I won a Facebook contest they ran back in 2013 and got the RSC Hardcore Kane for free. Sucks that they're gone. I miss having a specialist shop so close by.

Just bought one, so with £2.99 postage charge its just the figure price as normal.
