for the point of clarity here, can anyone remember a work by wwe involving the internet where they didn’t cover it on wwe.com?
the only time I can remember even the sheets getting worked is from that whole edge/matt hardy/lita debacle.

Perfect, logical response. And also, they could have professionally disagreed and tried to get it changed to where both parties could have looked good, but they chose the unprofessional route. You do make a good observation about KO based on how he left one tour, though they wouldn't have also sent Sami home, which you did say. yeah. It wouldn't make sense for Sami to be sent home if KO needed to leave for family issues. If it's a work, kudos WWE. You tricked the IWC and didn't have to put it on your social media pages. If it isn't a work (and it's likely to be real), they're idiots. Both are involved in one of the main storylines on SDL. KO has held the Universal Title, the US Title, IC title, NXT title, and had Cena put him over in his debut. He's wrestled a big mania match this year, and got to be the first person to blood Vince McMahon in years. He's done extremely well for being a wrestler who never fit the mold of what Vince wants (and KO knows that Vince didn't think his look was good as he has stated it in some documentary/interview). So, if he's unhappy with his spot, that's just CM PUNK sad. I have some "shrines" in my man cave. Mostly dedicated to Sting, AJ Styles, Becky and Alexa. I have some other autos as well of other professionals. My space is limited and I've been trying to figure what to scale back on. If these guys get fired or demoted or whatever for being idiots (if the story of them not having their egos in check holds true), looks like I'll finally have some space in my man cave again. I'm hoping its just the dirt sheets getting it wrong. They're not idiots. It makes no sense to have the odds stacked against the heels, If it was two on two yeah that's fine but its ridiculous to put two of your top heels in a position where the odds are against them. Can't blame them for being mad.

Can't blame them for being mad. But... 1) It's a 2 on 3 advantage on the faces. Owens attacked Kofi after the match, so you cannot say his character wasn't looking to fight. It would make sense for the 3 to beat down the 2 just as it makes sense for them to try and sneak attack them. 2) Sami and KO were already bragging about how they were better than any members of the roster. So it would make sense for them to charge in to pummel New Day especially from a cheap shot. 3) If your employer tells you to do something, you do it if it's not illegal. Let's give an example: They're actors who do stunts. They have a character to play. They're heels. There's more professional ways to act then just ignoring your instructions. Imagine if Jinder said forget it, and got counted out during SDL? If this storyis true, KO and Zayn are idiots.

Has anyone posted this or made mention of this info? Who is this “Real Dave”? Is it Meltzer and was he on the bus or involved in the booking? Thinking about it some more, I️ feel like them being sent home could be a way of easing tension. Owens had an issue on the last tour. He could very likely still be dealing with a ton of stress from that and may be a bit irritable. Add to that being on tour overseas. There a lot of travel involved and guys are around each other even more than usual. I’ve heard Sami described as “charmingly annoying”. He’s known to over analyze just about everything and basically never stop talking, to the point where other guys get annoyed. Perhaps things were getting heated on the tour and WWE was like “Just go home and let everyone cool off. Everything will be back to normal when we’re back home.”

And I doubt he was on the bus, but he has a proven track record, so he can be considered reliable. Is he always right? No. But it certainly is more concrete than people making speculative posts, speaking of which... I like your hypocritical questioning of if he was on the bus or involved in the booking to downplay something he is saying and then make separate hearsay or speculative statements that could be answered the same way you answered my post. ...lulz....

I️ wasn’t trying to bash your post. I️ was more trying to comment on the way Meltzer presents stuff as if it’s fact. The info he got may be accurate, but the way he worded it makes it seem like he has first hand knowledge. The difference between what he said and what I️ said is that he basically said “This is what happened” while I️ pretty much said “Here’s a thought about what might have happened”. For all we know I️ may have more insight than he does. He doesn’t say how he got the info. And the people giving him the info have agendas and perspectives that could obstruct the truth.

1. Outside them being sent home, we don’t know full details yet. Too many conflicting reports. Claiming they are hard to work with because of it has no real backing.
2. The New Day are one of the top acts in the company. Acting like this isn’t true because you don’t care for them is completely ridiculous.

I tried thinking logically about Neville's situation once, and it seemed to be completely wrong, but let's try it here. KO already left one tour to deal with personal family things. It is possible this is happening again and the "journalists" got it wrong. KO is a huge huge huge family man. I can't imagine him doing something asinine to the point where it might impact his ability to generate a well paying salary. Yes, I'm sure there are some of you that will argue that he could make more on the Indys, but the pay isn't guaranteed, won't necessarily be as much as he's making now or could make in the future while being with WWE, and his travel is more certain here than in the Indys. WWE follows a path. Indy bookings can have him one day in Topeka and the next day in Miami. It's scattered. As for Sami. I got nothing. If this report is true, it's their egos that killed them. New Day is currently (according to dirt sheets) going to be facing the Shield at SS. They need to really solidify New Day as a viable threat. Yes, they've held multipe W W E Tag team Championships (said in Xavier's voice), but as my fiance always mentions, they're clowns. Why would clowns be a challenge for a team that could destroy an entire locker room at one point? KO and Sami needed to put them over big time. Totally haven't seen New Day gel well into a Street Fight or a HiaC. Nope total clowns, can't hang with The Shield.

This being a work makes sense... It fits with the Owens/Shane McMahon feud, it also fits with Owens and Zayn not taking part in the RAW raid which "angered" Shane. It fits again, when you look at the two, who the fans actually like, while they are supposed to be "heels" yet look like they're being "pushed down" by the "authority".

I don't really know how someone can be hard to work with in the WWE. Everything in the match is pretty much written out for them except a few spots I'm sure, and even then they have their set and it's done.

"Wait, I don't like this bit and don't feel like it works for my character. Can we change it?" "No." "Why not?" "Because this is what we're telling you to do." "But, I don't see wh-" "Just go do what you're told." "Fine." *doesn't do what they're told*

I LOVE Sami, I think he's the best. But lately he's been acting weird. And don't give me that, "oh he's playing his gimmick" crap. No he's acting flat out odd. His fidgeting and off the wall actions remind me of someone who is manic.....still amazing and adorable though. No complaints, just questions.
