So wow, Im from The Netherlands, europe, always had to buy my figures online and have them shipped to me from the US. Stopped collecting couple of years ago so haven't bought from abroad for quite a while, but back then it sure wasn't like this. So I bought from Ringside Collectibles, 94 dollar on figures, 46 dollar on shipping! I found the shipping already quite expensive compared to before, but oh well, anything in life gets more expensive. But now I have to pay 35 dollar more on delivery on taxes and import costs or something, total madness.. I assume sellers notice this a lot in their international sales? Im sure gonna have to think twice before buying out of US now, and unfortunately they don't sell figures over here

I know the feeling. Shipping costs got way out of hand in the past few years. Now you have do deal with import tax and sometimes a duty fee. It's absolutely ridiculous.

The customs fees are the worst part, even if it's less than the shipping cost. Because it's basically "Oh I see you have a valuable item here. It'd be a shame if someone was to...hold it hostage."
And I'm visiting Amsterdam next week so at least I know now not to bother looking to see if they have any figures. Probably wouldn't buy any anyway but it'd be nice to have a look.

Yea, now I understand why I see so many sellers on Ebay offering the Global Shipping Program. The costs are high, but they say if u choose that method, no extra costs afterwards. I asked several sellers if I can't just get a cheaper method than Global Shipping Program, but most refuse, guess they don't want complaining customers afterwards. Ringside Collectibles gives a warning on their site when u buy tho that they not responsible for all those extra costs, but I didn't expect this. Some years ago I had it all send to me so cheap and without problems at custom clearance and stuff. So customs here said the 5 figures were valued 80 Euro, had to pay 21% tax (16 euro) and handling costs (13 euro) in total 29 euro when I went to pick it up. I already paid about 40 Euro for shipping from Ringside. So wow, 69 Euro costs on 80 Euro on figures... I repeat.. total madness....

Was gonna get the Sylvanas statue from Blizzard Store, £350. Fair. It's a mindblowingly good statue. Shipping + customs totaled to £300 alone. That is almost the entire statue in shipping alone. Madness. Shipping and so on has just gone to hell in recent years.

I mean, they want you to buy your products in your own country. Ok, but these wrestling figures aren't sold here. So in this case
