I am one of the few that jumped on the Mattel train late and truly appreciate the re releases for certain figures that are jacked way up in price from the secondary market. I.e. mankind, George animal Steele, lost legends etc. I would really love for them to re release the Yokozuna (all red) debut Kane, diesel, outsiders Kevin Nash and the DM triple H with same accessories, and King Kong Bundy as well even though I know I know not possible right now, I”m just throwing my name in the hat here to let Mattel know I do like them I think there’s a decent market for them and would buy them all!

I was in the same boat and bought a few of those at heavily inflated prices. Red Yoko you’ll find cheap enough if you keep any eye out on eBay though.

Ill take repaints but I see no reason for re-releases...if you missed them the first time then sucks for you but pay the secondary market price and catch up. Ive had to do it, we've all had to. No reason to make others suffer because we dropped the ball.

E12 Kane E4 Kane RSE "Masked" Kane RSE "Hardcore" Kane (I like Kane) E13 Edge Legends Dusty E1 Undertaker with an improved head
I see why people dislike re-releases but it's always been about collecting, not for the value, but because you like the figure right?

I could see Mattel re-releasing a whole lot of rare figures towards the end of their contract.

I don't need him, but Kerry Von Erich should get another figure or a re-release.

No reason to make others suffer because we dropped the ball. I'll have to disagree with you on this one. Some of us didn't miss out because we choose not to buy at the time they came out, some of us never saw the figure(s) in stores. Like legends series 6, I never saw them in stores, so getting the ultimate warrior in the lost legends set was great. I also never saw the Texas Tornado in stores either, I was lucky that I found him on ebay for relatively cheap, but others may not have been so lucky. Same with the Hart Foundation elites, I only saw Jim Neidhart in stores, still have never seen Bret Hart in stores. I had to purchase Bret from Ringside Collectibles. Getting some more (not a lot) in a lost legends set would be great, especially for figures that sold well or were not in stores long, that way people can get them without paying extremely huge prices for figures. Plus, we're not getting a lot of new flashback series figures now because of the concussion lawsuit, so putting out some lost legends wouldn't be bad.

No reason to make others suffer because we dropped the ball. Wow.....ok..... you having a bad day bro? Sorry I only spend thousands of dollars a year on these products (much more than any other hobby of mine) wether it’s a current or flashback or any and all elites for that matter including multiples of every wrestler in all the attires offered, as you can clearly tell in my original post. So I do apologize for ruining your day because I started collecting in 2013 and not 2010 like your greatness, I guarantee you’re also the same person complaining about not enough flashbacks well in theory these would be more flashbacks and TBH there isn’t a plethora of different wrestlers being made lately in that category. I”m literally asking Mattel to produce more products for me to buy lol, so On top of all the money I spend I don’t see much point paying a bare minimum of $60 to $160 for one figure that I could buy for $20-$26 when that profit is going to a scalper not Mattel themselves and all that extra money could go to MORE MATTEL PRODUCTS! You are hilarious my friend

No reason to re-release things when they're readily available on the secondary market. Ive caught up from there, so has many others. No reason to clog shelves with stuff people already have just so we can appease a select few. Network Spotlight Big Bossman, Lost Legends Ultimate Warrior, HBK & Undertaker are all figures that I can readily get at retail right now simply because they've sat around and clogged shelves forever because people already got them originally. To this day DM HBK is still the only Legend/Flashback/DM/EG that I dont personally own. Id like to add it to my collection but Id be pissed off if Mattel came out and said "Hey we cancelled DX HBK or 98 Royal Rumble HBK so we could re-release the DM...Repaints are find, re-releases are wastes.

No one is saying that they should cancel any upcoming figures to put out re-releases. And if they want to put them as ringside collectible exclusives that would be okay too. And all network spotlights clog shelves, Triple H, Vince McMahon, Bayley, etc., not just the re-releases.

I’ve had to do catch up on lines, including this one. But I don’t have a problem with rereleases. NECA does it all the time. Keeps the line moving forward by bringing in new collectors. People could skip the lost Legends releases and they didn’t clog too hard.
I’d like another shot at Vader, but chances are slim. I passed on his clearances Legend (ditto Dusty) and never once saw his Elite release. I think we’d all be game for another DM Macho, maybe this time in regular Elite packaging so the DM remains special.

With all of the extra sub-lines Mattel got for WWE figures, there is no reason to not recreate some of the previous figures they can still do. I know Demolition is off the table but the Von Erichs are still in play. And like with King Booker and Big Bossman, they can modify them to so new and old collectors be satisfied. Like I'm not mad about another Yoko getting released. They made enough changes to make it better than the other ones.
