Couple quick thoughts...
I'm okay with Jinder not getting his rematch. Give AJ a lengthy run. Keep Jinder in the upper mid-card and maybe revisit him as Champion in another year or so. I still say let him win the US title instead.
Also Triple H will be able to judge where Jinder stands in the ring. If he can go, Triple H will know it. If not, Jinder's time on top could be almost over. This could be make or break for Jinder.
Triple H vs Jinder actually sounds promising.

Looks like the Jinder experiment may be over, which is just about the best news I can think of.
Evidently, there were some metrics coming in that spooked Vince.

Good, good... keep him far away from the title.

Good! Maybe now they'll actually put it on the same few people, over, and over, and over again, who've already held it multiple times already! Thank you WWE. Took you long enough.

I don't understand why they never gave him a long US Title run. So much heat could be generated with Jinder holding the US Title.

Triple H vs. Jinder in India would actually be bigger and better received than him getting a title rematch anyway and regardless of who wins the crowd will love it. It wouldn’t shock me if Triple H himself pushed for this match given the fact that he’s gone on record to say how much he respects Jinder:

This match will prove that Jinder can hang with the bigger names. I believe Jinder will be champ again....maybe in a year or so. He really needs to build himself up before he has another title run.

If Jinder Mahal can't deliver in-ring with Triple H, oh boy!
I do agree, this match does sound promising and good on paper.

I've seen some people (online) saying that Triple H is actually more well received than Jinder is in India. So this may actually help ticket sales.
Then again I've also read plenty of shovel comments. Because god forbid Triple H has a match and might actually win. Gasp!

If its multiple matches they're having, i could see Mahal winning the first, then HHH winning the next to try things out

Good!
Hopefully at WM he's losing to Gronk in like 60 or 90 seconds.

Act like Jinder can’t win the title back before then and H wouldn’t put himself in a title match.....,
