I was watching these tick-over last night - Crush was always sat at a higher value than the other greens on offer going into the final minutes (it was sat on £77 for a while as the others were around the £50/£60 mark), but even so when the final sniper took it to £121! Other than the 1-2-3 Kid, I thought the rest of the greens were all around the same sort of rarity and value - is Crush more sort-after than the rest these days?

I think Crush, Bomb, and Borga are usually pretty much in the same ballpark. Kid the highest, and Yoks and the Gunns the lowest.

I paid £78 a year ago for my loose Evil Crush, which I thought was expensive. A bargain compared to this.
In 2013 I paid £69 for a MOC Evil Crush. Again, though it was expensive at the time.
What I didn't understand about the one that sold for £121 last night, was that it was not in pristine condition. I could understand the high prices for pristine, but this one had minor paint wear.

I remember in the late '90s/early '00s, getting loose & mint green card figures for $20-30USD any time you wanted. What a time... FWIW, 123 Kid could go up to $50.
About 4 years ago I found a local toy shop that had the set of greens (minus Yoko) and I scored them for about $100. I made a great profit on them (I don't collect anymore, so sue me) but wish I held out a bit longer. They exploded in price the following year and appear to have kept going. Yikes!

Good point, half the fun is tracking one down and getting it for a good price. But I would pay a high price if it was worth it to me. I need a mailaway taker but there's no way of pay those kind of prices.

Tell me about it, evil crush and the 1-2-3 kid are the only two loose figures I am missing to complete my Hasbro collection, minus the three mail-a-ways.

Think I paid £15-ish for mine (loose mint) around '97/'98.
1-2-3 Kid carded cost me £40 around the same time.

these prices are definitely going up quite a bit..
i restarted collecting figures again in 2010...i finished my hasbro set in 2012 i believe.. i remember i paid pretty much close to ebay retail for most of the green cards... and i believe back then i paid about $25 for yoko.. $30 each for smoking guns, bomb and borga...$40 for evil crush and $45 for 123 kid... this was in CDN$, but at the time CDN$ was on par with US dollars..
now just 5 years later.. it looks like, on average, Smoking Guns pair go for about $260CDN...Yoko $70...Borga $90...Bomb $100...Crush $130...123 Kid $130.....almost $800 CDN compared to the $230 i paid in 2012...increase of 3.5 times in price in 5 years

I’m not good at converting $ into £, but 121 sounds expensive in any currency lol. I paid £27 for an item (something I’m SIKED about!) and even that was kind of expensive in American dollars.
