I recently purchased a WWF Hasbro candle from Germany. A Macho King figure and accessories are included. Weird. imgur.com/a/03xaeLooking at this for the 5th time now. I remember this one from my childhood. A friend of mine had one/ brought it as a gift from his vacation. It got lost over time... anyway. Summed up, I have two things to add to the conversation: 1.) I can confirm this is legit and was available around 1998 (maybe earlier - it's really just my memory) in Greece. 2.) I believe this one came without an action figure. Could it be that the figure has been added by someone back than (eg for a birthday present) and somehow it stayed this way over the years?

If you look closely, his accessories are in a sealed baggie connected to the box.

No. I really don't know. I neither remember the exact year I have gotten my one, nor is it in any way an indicator for when these have been released. Especially items from Greace have been available quite long as small toyshops are more usual there than the typical Walmart. In fact you can be lucky and find a shop with Hasbros (or vintage toys in general) in Greace even today. Same goes for Italy and Spain and other countries over here. When I say I got it in 1998 (round about) this doesn't mean it was the release date.

Some Greece exclusive. I'd seen GI Joes and Transformers. This is new to me... Ya, that's definitely not German... so I can't read what it says. Does anyone read Greek? Does that say "candle" on the front of the package?

I put "candle" into a Greek translator on line after playing with the text on the box and it shows the following, none of which appear to be the word for it.
1.candle - verb ♦σημαδεύω 2.candle - noun ♦κερί

Using the Greek alphabet it translates to "THE PALACE OF THE KATS" whatever that means...

That would be my guess too, but even a friend of mine who is greek doesn't know the word. It could also mean "squared circle", "ropes" or whatever. You get the direction, I think.
