Since Christmas is on its way well within the next few weeks it begs the question of what your 5 favorite all time Christmas movies are
List them from #5 to #1
My 5 all time Christmas movies are listed as follows:
5- Elf (2003)- Will Ferrell classic...Buddy The Elf his character just resonates with me but also the message the movie portrays or conveys here about Christmas it really just gets to me on an emotional level
4- The Santa Clause (1994)- Tim Allen as Santa Claus...big part of my childhood this film was but also the story behind it too is what makes this film an all time Christmas classic
3- A Christmas Story (1983)- One of the best Christmas films of all time in the spirit of Christmas bar none...not to mention the hilarity and the comedy that ensues...I mean how could this movie not be on your list?
2- Die Hard (1988)- Bruce Willis as John McClane on Christmas taking on terrorists by himself in a skyscraper...best Christmas action movie bar none not to mention the famous one-liners here in the first Die Hard...that is what makes a true Christmas classic
1- It's a Wonderful Life (1946)- This film strikes a cord with me like nothing else because the message it portrays/conveys here along with the emotive subtext too...I mean it has to be the greatest Christmas film of all time bar none

Honestly, The Night Before is so close to knocking Bad Santa out of the top five. It’s so god damn good.

I don't have a top 5, but the two I have to watch every year at Christmas time are Christmas Vacation and How the Grinch Stole Christmas (the animated one with Boris Karloff, not the abomination that Jim Carrey crapped out.)

The Grinch with Jim Carrey definitely has to be a Christmas classic either way you look at it but then the animated version definitely has to be considered as one of the all time great Christmas movies whether it be live action or animated
Scrooged definitely is underrated
Home Alone and Home Alone 2 especially have to be one of those Christmas classics that you just cannot go without
