With two sets of 3 randomly paired, non sensical teams of women attacking the females of the main roster on both Raw and Smackdown, I want to believe they are connected and not just lazy writing on behalf of WWE creative. The timing of these events, with the next PPV featuring RAW talent being the Royal Rumble, leads me to believe they are building towards an all female Royal Rumble match. When you consider everyone on the main roster, everyone established or given any credibility in NXT and the elephant in the room rumored to have a Wrestlemania match with Charlotte, there are indeed 30 names. They wouldn't even have to rely on names from the past to fill it out. I find it very curious that they chose such bottom feeders from the NXT roster to debut in these attack segments, and I think this is their attempt to familiarize you with them before the match itself. Leaving out the current champions Charlotte, Alexa and Ember.......
Nia Jax Sasha Banks Bayley Mickie James Asuka Dana Brooke Paige Mandy Rose Sonya Deville Alicia Fox Naomi Natalya Becky Lynch Tamina Lana Carmella Liv Morgan Ruby Riot Sarah Logan Nikki Cross Peyton Royce Billie Kay Zelina Vega Shayna Baszler Mercedes Martinez Taynara Conti Bianca Belair Lacey Evans Kairi Sane RONDA ROUSEY
With Ronda obviously winning and challenging Charlotte at Wrestlemania. What do you think?

Cool idea. If they did something like that, it would probably be on raw the week before or the night after.

I just cant see them doing a 30 woman royal rumble. 15 maybe 20 at the most. 30 would take up too much time on RAW & SD and would kill ratings honestly. I cant see them packing 2 30ct Rumbles on the actual PPV.
Id expect 15-20 at the most for maybe the kickoff show/first hour of Rumble PPV if the PPV is extended and starts at 7

That 5 on 5 at Survivor Series went 18 minutes and it was a botchfest, time isnt really an issue for the big 4 PPVs. They go on for a painfully long time, every time. If they took 35-40 minutes to get through 30 women and then had Rousey make her debut at number 30 it would get them a ton of mainstream attention and wouldnt be too hard to watch if they spaced out the stars, but would most definitely have to go on first. I wouldn't mind seeing Rousey go over Asuka.

I hate that WWE always gives these big opportunities to outsiders/part-timers for the biggest show of the year. It's incredible disrespectful to the guys and gals who work 364 days a year and again pushes everyone down the card instead of fostering the talent you do have year-round.

I’m not looking forward to the abundance of random, thrown together 3 on 3 matches we are going to be getting over the next few weeks. It’s Team BAD vs Team Bella vs Team whatever their name was all over again.

It’s Team BAD vs Team Bella vs Team whatever their name was all over again. It was Submission Sorority first, but then that was the name of a porn site so they changed it to Team PCB. Somebody pointed out that Paige, Mandy and Sonya could be "PMS", but Russo is far gone so I doubt it. They at least have the Tough Enough connection, but Liv, Ruby and Sarah is SO f***ing random I have to believe some greater is afoot. It makes absolutely no sense. I would have thought Liv would work as a mini me for Carmella but she is already dissing her for gimmick infringement on Twitter.

Thank you for the names James St. James, it completely slipped my mind. I’m sure they have a endgame but recently creative hasn’t given me faith that they can make it entertaining or non-repetitive as they work towards it.

My guess is a 20 woman royal rumble opens the show and the 30 man rumble closes it.

I’m all for a women’s Royal Rumble!
Why not?

I’m all for gender equality, hell the women have main evented shows, had Hell in a Cell, Money in the Bank ladder matches etc but we don’t need a women’s Royal Rumble. It’s just not necessary.

Minus the usage of Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey, I'm all for the line-up in the OP. Should definitely throw in one or two faces from the past (if Kaitlyn is indeed making a wrestling comeback, perhaps this is her return?), or maybe put in THE BIG DAWG, Dakota Kai.
But yeah, I'm all for a women's Royal Rumble, and I agree that will happen eventually. I didn't expect it to happen in 2018, but after this week, who knows? There is simply no reason to exclude women from such a wonderful match type. They deserve the chance to compete in it every year, just like the men have for 30+ years. So far they've finally been given access to Hell in a Cell and Money in the Bank. I would have thought Elimination Chamber would be next, but Royal Rumble is even better.
Cut down on the length of the men's Royal Rumble, start the show with the women's Royal Rumble and end with the men's, and it could work wonderfully.

I don't want Ronda anywhere NEAR the title. So many other deserving women.

I would do a 20 woman Royal Rumble Match 10 RAW divas and 10 Smackdown Live divas...the winner gets a RAW Women's Championship match or a Smackdown Live Women's Championship match at WrestleMania 34
To start off
And if this catches on I would make it 30 divas in 2019

I like the idea of a 20 woman Rumble. But I don't like the idea of Ronda winning it.

I'd say a 15 Women's Royal Rumble would be fine.
