I'd put money on half the people complaining about 205 Live having never even watched a full episode.
It's a fun show, it's better than Superstars or Main Event or whatever else they used to over-saturate their weekly schedule.

WWE wants to have the 205 guys as its own thing but with all the NXT, RAW, Smackdown shows it just feels like there is too much to follow as most have been saying for years and there isn't enough of a mainstream fan base to follow just 205 and look good rating wise compared to RAW.
If they were added on to all shows and had maybe a match on each show with 1 belt defended across all shows it may help (as long as they aren't feed to Braun or Kane) to see them as "part of the show" instead of being a separate entity that wwe has always tried to ignore due to the bigger is better mindset
The funny thing is there really aren't that small anymore. finn, rollins, gargano and loads more would easily fit in with them based on their size

Not make it its own blatant thing, just have it be part of the show like Women's or Tag Teams.

Have them all lose to KENTA. Yes, KENTA...not this hideous "Itami" name he has been using ever since WWE signed him. It's a shame how Mr. Kobayashi has been handled during his run so far. Not only didn't he win a title in NXT, he also got squashed in that stupid Battle Royal at Wrestlemania 31. Way to build up your stars, Vince! It's time for a new beginning on the main roster and this time Kenta better not be turned into a ing jobber again!

my changing of things would be more of a long term approach and has to do with changing the dynamics of current wrestling.
the one thing i would hone in on in the wwe is gathering larger athletes. understandibly not encouraging steroid use is a benefit, but as a result we've seen less large men. braun strowman and authors of pain are welcome additions but we need more of these men.
if aj styles is doing springboard maneuvers and flying around, and seth rollins was hitting phoenix splashes and flips, and the average wwe superstar is only around 220lb, then what exactly is the cruiserweight division offering that the average wwe show does not? nothing. and that is the major issue.
the reality is that ring of honor changed wrestling in the early 2000s, and we're just now catching up to the new workrate that is expected. that wrestling is based off smaller wrestlers and more agile maneuvers. so to have a random division that claims to focus on that when that simply is what current wrestling is makes a system bound for failure.
for a quick fix for interest sake though, i'd say adding roh's scramble style matches would create a more chaos based environment. and that is often how wcw capitalized on their cruiserweights anyways.
if they NEED to keep with the cruiserweight idea, they should look towards how tna treated the x division. a group of guys that are trying to literally push the limits of what wrestling is. unfortunately that comes with risk (more spots) that i'm not sure wwe would be willing to inherit.

It's always been pretty doomed. In 1997 WCW when Hulk Hogan and The Giant were main eventers, the cruiserweights offered something different. In 2017 WWE, they're not really doing anything that the likes of Rollins and Styles aren't doing.
I'd say just focus on establishing characters instead of pointless rematches that mean nothing, but maybe they're doing that already. I don't watch it. I only tend to watch the main shows in highlight form now, so I'm unlikely to bother with the minor ones unless I hear a huge wave of positive buzz.

Stay on course. Because truth be told, they're very talented and can be enjoyable. But... Bring in some new talent to give us fresh match ups. Itami is a good start. I personally would add Gargano & Dunne IMMEDIATELY. Eventually add Ciampa to rekindle his feud with Gargano. Give the CW a chance to showcase themselves more on RAW & PPV. No more pre-show s***. Give them a ladder match on WM. Let them steal the show. Give them more personality. Give the fans a reason to care. Let them play off of other main roster talent. If the fans see Finn BS'ing with Alexander, maybe the crowd would realize he's a good guy? This x1000.

I think they should have a UK Title vs Cruiserweight title match, combine both the belts and then bring out a midcard title for NXT which then the Cruiserweights, UK guys & NXT's midcard like No Way Jose, Velveteen Dream etc can fight over.

I'd integrate them with the rest of the roster. And they could be drafted too. The CW title would be brand neutral going between raw and smackdown.

Ideally I would end 205 Live which hasn't really been that good(not so much the talent but the effort the WWE has put behind them and the writers) and I would have the Cruiseweights apart of RAW full time with them being able to mix it up with all of the talent on the brand and not just stuck in wrestling each other week after week.As someone else pointed out like it was in WCW and also during the first brand split era on Smackdown. The roster needs a serious overhaul and more well rounded talents that the fanbase cares about and can get behind, and guys that have some star power. So I would remake the roster as,
Cedric Alexander Chris Jericho(once he returns) Enzo Amore Finn Balor Hideo Itami Kalisto Mark Andrews Rich Swann Tyler Breeze
and then you have NXT to pull from in terms of Strong,Gargano,Ciampa,Cole,Bate,Dunn...ect

Fire all of them. They would be much more important pieces on the Indy or Japanese scene.

Get rid of it. The experiment failed. I tried to like it but I can't get into any of them character wise. Yea they can run fast and flip all over the place but they are dull as faded paint. Drew was ok for a couple of segments but I grew tired of it already. Credit for trying something different though.

I don't think 205 or the Cruiserweight division is really working out. Unfortunately I think they need to re-evaluate the roster, pick who they want to go to RAW, Smackdown, and NXT....and release the rest.

Theres 3-5 they can keep, if you can make tag teams out of any of them then salvage them for that....anyone else just let go.
