The Raven and Bagwell lawsuit about Network royalties was dismissed with prejudice, meaning neither man can bring claims against WWE. It also allows the WWE to go forward with content from Sunday Night Heat and Smackdown episodes to go forward on the WWE Network. Raven could potentially sign a legends deal and get back in good graces with WWE. Bagwell...I hope he saved up some of those $8000 weekend rates he charged as a male escort. This may also put any type of halt to another performer from bringing a lawsuit against the WWE with regards to royalties and the WWE Network. Source: Raven and Bagwell Dismissed |

I didn't expect them to win this anyway. But like you said, hopefully now Raven can work with WWE on a legends deal. I'd be interested to see a Mattel figure of Raven.

Why can they go forward now as opposed to before with Sunday night heat. They (WWE) were supposed to put some Heat and Smackdown stuff to the Network that wasn't on before. However with the Raven side of the suit, they stopped it because he was used on both shows. The WWE was even thinking of editing out Raven and Bagwell from the network until the suit was resolved but they didn't have to since it was dismissed. |

I figured they were already on the network for other matches and things what is the differences I don't have the Network currently but I did have it when it first launched. The Clash of Champions events were not on it and I was pissed about that. Eventually they got it on there. But I would have imagined by now that all of those shows, especially Attitude era shows, would have made it to the Network by now. |

I think he meant Heat and Thunder. I'm really pumped about this because now we will probably be getting Sunday Night Heat on the Network so Attitude Era binge watching will be full force from me soon. |

Didn't Rene Dupree attempt to sue them over the network last year and his case never even went to court? No idea why Raven, Bagwell or anyone else would think they would have a different result. But why in the world was Raven the reason that they didn't add episodes of Heat to the WWE Network? They had tons of episodes they could've put on there where he wasn't wrestling/announcing on it.

Really hope a lawyerwasbt consulted with this article as it has too many wrong assumptions
1) it seems like it was a voluntary dismissal. If it was the first it isn't with prejudice--unless statute of limitations applied or a settlement was reached. If it was the second it is.
2) NOT a judgment on the merits. This means other formerly wrestlers can bring this action. The only ones who cannot are Buff Daddy and Raven (and whomever else was involve).
3) it's a stipulation of dismissal. So it wasn't a voluntary dismissal. Pulled the order, and it says they agreed to dismiss. That is equivalent of a settlement agreement, PWI. Stop being dumb. They even said in a prior filing this would be to settle the claims. So again PWI. Stop being dumb.
