Because crap like that doesn't actually matter and shouldn't cause you a mental breakdown You forget where you're at. This is Wfigs. Where people have severe OCD and want everything accurate with timestamps. See this is what annoys me. What's wrong with wanting figures to be accurate? Fair enough there's budgets but how can you not put a jericho goatee scan on that figure? It's already been made! Why can't they get the correct trousers and shoes? It's simple things that take little to no effort as I've said. We pay good money for these figures and for the most part there is almost always something wrong with them. I get that some figures can have messed up paint apps etc but one thing they should be able to get right is part choices. How can sting go from being as skinny as the smallest torso besides Ellsworth to being as big as Batista in the space of a figure lol it's madness. Call it a mental breakdown if you want but I just wonder how things like that are allowed to happen.

Someone please explain to me how you can watch that segment and then when planning a figure you give an outdated headsculpt with no goatee and kick pads and tights when he was wearing trousers and shoes. Not to mention the jacket being closed. This happens nearly every single figure now btw. Stupid parts choices and decisions making figures easy passes when they should be MUST HAVES! Because crap like that doesn't actually matter and shouldn't cause you a mental breakdown Lol yeah parts choices don't matter let's just stop trying to get better value for our money

I have to agree... normally, I'm prepared to give Mattel a break as overall the figures are fantastic. But when we're paying $50 (upwards, including shipping and import fees) for a set, I would like to think simple things like Jericho's head and boots would be correct - especially when the parts are already available. It's probably not a deal-breaker for me - but it is disappointing.

Shame on Mattel for making one of the most heartbreaking break-ups in recent memory in figure form 😢 pretty good looking set though.

There wanting accuracy and there's getting pissed that a figure is missing things like special knee pads and trademarked tattoos. When that TNF Miss Elizabeth was shown, folks racked their brains amd watched ton of video trying to nail down when she wore that dress. That's different from a Surfer Sting built like a dwarf powerlifter.

Yeah I know what you're saying but people pay their hard earned money for these things and have a right to voice their opinions as well. If we didn't moan and debate about what's good and what's bad then this forum would be pointless.

Admittedly this has slipped to a pass for me barring steep clearance. The Jericho really came out pretty meh.

After the diehards buy their set, I don't see these flying off shelves, especially at $50. You got two guys who aren't even in ring gear. This is a very niche set, unlike the Hardy Boyz which will sell like hot cakes. I think the same about this . This set is gonna probably hold up a lot of stores but the hardys should do very well. Theres going to be a lot of elite jerichos out already and im sure a couple kevin owens by then so these arent going to be all that sought after at the price tag

Just sometimes we need not go over the edge in the criticisms. Asking why something was used liked the infamous Fandango torso or where is Greg Valentine is good. Telling MDT they are terrible at their job and telling them how to do it better because you're a customizer, no bueno. We all got things we are passionate about. That's why most of us are here and spend money for these toys. But way too often that passion leads to arrogance, rage, and madness on this forum. That's is when you might want to take a break and find a new, less stressful hobby.

Will be picking up but not at full price, already have 3 elites of both characters. And street clothes versions aren’t something I’m willing to shell out $50 for. Now the Hardy’s on the other hand😈...

Not interested in this set. I do think Kevin owns skinny legs look funny though. The problem people aren't understanding when it comes to people criticizing Mattel's shortcomings is that it's happening more frequently. Constructive criticism is great, I do it myself and don't see an issue with it. I could see getting worked about some people just saying "it's crap" without a valid reason... However, with evidence backing up such statements I don't see what the big deal is. The parts are available for a lot of the figures, yet questionable ones are chosen. Same thing with certain details that make a figure. The ringside hbk, this set, tank top molded shirt Jeff hardy (the epic moments), entrance great angle are prime examples.

The part choices for Jericho are very very confusing. The figure came out very bad, unfortunately. Elite 2 packs are going to be expensive, and when you design a real dud of a figure like that, it could kill the line. This pack is not going to sell, which is going to cause them to clearance, stores won't want to order more, and then it's Legends/DM all over again. DEAD.
Maybe the Hardy Boyz can save the line, because this one is going to do some serious damage.
