As far as Nakamura, I've noticed after watching recently this past SDL and his HIAC against Jinder that the crowd doesn't react to his moves as fervently as others who hold a similar position in WWE. Sure the crowd sings along with his entrance theme, and the "smart audience" reacts during his matches, but the casual viewers in the "WWE Universe" are pretty silent while the commentators are trying to sell his moves. Many other Superstars get a pop while performing or setting up their signature moves, but Shinsuke relies more on his charisma to elicit a response while moves like his Good Vibration corner stomps (a popular move in Japan) goes by in mostly silence. Maybe his style of mostly swift, sudden strikes doesn't translate well to the WWE audience. Maybe having to tone down his strikes is having an effect.

I just need to add that it wasn’t that Kassius was fat, it was that he GOT fat. He gave up, and got really lazy. I don’t know why, or I don’t remember, but he didn’t care anymore and they didn’t want to waste their time with him if he wasn’t going to put in the work and be healthy. Whereas Owens is just kinda a naturally chubby guy, but still hits the gym and still makes an effort to stay in shape (stay in shape, not lose weight, there’s a difference). At least that’s what I heard a while after he was released. I could be wrong. Could be and are. Ohno has dealt with thyroid and back issues which led to his weight gain. He’s said in interview the way he looks is just that, a look. He goes as hard as he ever did when he was skinny (even harder IMO), and he feels healthy and happy. He’s actually a great role model for not judging people only by their looks.
