NXT has a lot of fat. Blake, Murphy, Lio Rush, Riddick Moss are ones that come to mind right away When did Lio Rush start to suck? I always thought he ruled, loved his last CZW match with Janela I liked his match with Velveteen Dream on NXT. I then started seeing his indy stuff. I do enjoy his entrances when he turns into the Blackheart (the song does it justice). About his last CZW match, i liked it, but i did not like the spot where Janela gives Rush a Powerbomb from the ladder through a table, and then no sells it. Totally unnecessary spot that made them both look dumb IMO. His ceiling IMO is 205 Live if he survives NXT.

This would be perfect for Dolph Ziggler for example. As of now, he's just on Smackdown to take falls and make others look great. He could go to NXT and genuinely put on some really great matches with people, and use it as a way to get more over again, and then eventually come back. I don't think putting anybody down to NXT will be good for the NXT brand, but if it makes sense and it is an indy-type guy who can go well in the Ring, then it will only strengthen it.

I think the 3 that could benefit from going to NXT are Dolph Ziggler, Apollo Crews, and Dana Brooke

Oh that paycheck and those royalties will determine if it's a demotion!

This actually might be perfect for Tony Neese. Because I think with a bit of a tweak, and some more character development, he could be something special in the future.

Just put Ohno on the main roster already dammit. I don’t even think he’ll be under contract this time next year, let alone on the main roster. Why? Just curious

After the success of nxt on USA this past Wednesday, i wouldn't be surprised if they were thinking of making nxt 2 hours and putting it on regular tv.

Oh that paycheck and those royalties will determine if it's a demotion! I think this is the reason WWE is trying to push nXt they way they are. They know it’s a niche market of independent standouts, but it’s beginning to break past the network exclusive moniker and becoming a legitimate third brand. If it’s making good money, WWE can afford to pay them more.

The thing with Ohno, I wouldn't be surprised if he signed on to be more of a trainer/coach type of talent. The type that works with the next big star to evaluate where they stand and to get them ready for the next step. I don't know if wins and loses mean all that much to him at this stage.
I could be wrong though. Just speculating.

I could be wrong though. Just speculating. That makes sense actually. When Ohno was hired back, i was confused cause i never saw him making it to the main roster in the shape he's in now, but if hes there to work with guys getting ready for the main event scene on NXT or main roster, then yeah. And BTW, I know his body shape should not matter since hes been putting on some of my favorite matches recently on NXT, but to me i just see him as an out of shape looking guy who does not wear attire to hide his shape who happens to have great matches. I know to some, his in ring work is all that matters. To me, i think about everything. Ohno entertains me through his in ring work so thats enough for me to be a fan, but i dont believe for one second he's going on the main roster in the shape hes in. And if anyone tells me, "Oh Kevin Owens, Samoa Joe looks out of shape and they're on the main roster", well Kevin Owens wears attire to sorta hide his shape, and his character also makes people forget his shape, and Samoa Joe is Samoan, so to WWE a lot of samoans look out of shape but are tough as hell so his shape is not gonna matter much. At least hes in better shape than in TNA. Ohno doesn't really have what Owens or Joe has to forget the fact that hes out of shape. Yeah he wrestles great, but to me, i wouldn't buy him as a main roster guy. Sorry for my rant lol. But believe me, Im enjoying the hell outta Kassius Ohno in NXT so thats where he should be IMO.

I agree. His gear really isn't flattering at all. And I think NXT is his ceiling for the foreseeable future. But I do have to admit, part of me would really have liked to see Harper & Ohno as a tag team. I think their styles & looks would have meshed very well.

A bunch of the lower card guys specifically Apollo Crews would benefit from this.

NXT is a better booked show, the Takeover events consistently earn more praise than the main roster ppvs.
Hardly a demotion imo.

I hope that NXT kind of becomes a 3rd brand and becomes a weekly series on USA instead of just on the network. If this happens which some rumors possibly are hinting at(also that RAW would be moved back to just 2 hours which would be great and been badly need for year) then they'll need a few bigger named guys to help out.I would have one or two decent sized names from the main roster move back to NXT but not over flooded it with main roster members, and kind of keep it like how the revived ECW was going to be with just Angle & Big Show as the two big names help out the brand.
Obviously if he sticks around Dolph Ziggler would be the main guy and could do wonders in NXT and give his career a 2nd life with matches and feuds against Cole,Black,McIntrye,Dream,Gagarno...ect and then from RAW maybe actually Finn Balor who's been treated like crap on the main brand and someone that Vince McMahon isn't behind. When you think of NXT the two guys that kind of come to mind as the heart and soul of the brand are Balor and Zayn so moving Balor back would really strengthen the brand.

That depends. Would they go from making main roster money to NXT money? In that case it would literally be the definition of a demotion.
I'm still for it though. It could definitely help a lot of wrestlers out.

But there’s no room in NXT... We’ll see. NXT has a lot of fat. Blake, Murphy, Lio Rush, Riddick Moss are ones that come to mind right away There’s something there with Murphy though, he just needs an opportunity. Guys can’t get over on a house show when they’re never on TV, because people don’t care. There’s no story or character there. The other three I agree on though, along with Tony [insert Italian last name here] , I don’t see him going anywhere, Mason Ryan had more talent and charisma than him. At least to me.

It could definitely help a lot of wrestlers out. Their contracts wouldn't change to developmental contracts, but they'd likely make nothing above their downside guarantee because NXT makes no profit. Most of the 205 Live Guys might be better off financially if they got moved to the NXT Florida loops, but for the likes of Ziggler and Apollo it'd mean making less money than they do currently... The gamble being that it'd give their careers/characters a shot in the arm to then make more money down the road.

I think that some of the guys they might want to move down -- Ziggler and Apollo for example -- would be better off leaving for a few years. Most of them would make better money in the indies, get a high profile contract with NJPW, ROH, LU, etc. then come back for a big money, main event run.
