In the UK at least, I think a lot had to do with Argos and Index only stocking Samu. These were hugely popular places to get figures. Especially when less places were stocking figures. I posted a number of scans a while back. Here is Argos but I'll try and find my Index scans. Thanks for posting that, very interesting. I notice just Scott too, plus Doink. Wonder if those 3 were produced in higher numbers than the other 3 in the purple cards. I do notice prices seem to be surprisingly lower for Doink aswell compared to Dibiase, Duggan, Tatanka and Rick. Weird, but evidence seems to suggest at least for later series, Hasbro shipping entire boxes of certain figures to retailers. I know I've seen a box of Mr. Perfects from the Red Card show up someplace before.

I got samu from that catalogue too, when the search for fatu failed i just used samu as haku I remember yokozuna was the hardest red card to locate Yeah, in Texas, Yokozuna and Undertaker were the hardest to find from the red card series. I never had those two figures as a kid, never once saw them in stores. Picked up the other 4 all at the same time.

I was never able to find Taker, Luger, or Bam Bam from the red card series in stores, and I definitely looked a lot.

Here in Austria (Vienna) is a big warehouse with vintage stuff. I don’t know how many they have but really really a lot of boxed series 10, Headshrinkers, Bushwakers, Marty Jannetty and the Rockers Tag Team what I saw the last time at my visit in the warehouse. They sell them for 10€ per piece, so in my area there is no problem to get this few figures for a good price. Was thst you who shared the photos years ago? If so are they still online. It was so incredible, I wanted to hop a flight to Austria that day lol

I remember I got that whole blue set with the hbk razor and all of them. I guess I was just lucky must of went to Toys R Us when they first put them out. Made my Grandpa help me buy the whole set. Remember had to cut his lawn for about a month with no help (I was probably 10 or 11 at the time). As for the red set. I remember seeing the red set actually that was how I got my Mr. Perfect. I couldn't find him in his first set. When I found the red set there was no Yoko or Bam Bam and the funny thing was that back then when I was a kid I was like well I already have a bret and taker dont need a repaint because besides perfect they had a few takers and bret. well who knew almost 20 years later whenever I look on other site i said should have picked up that bret and taker.

I only meet this warehouse last year because I searched something in the internet for my little daughter and found it there so I drove there and found a lot other great stuff too 😅 was a really great feeling but he only had the s10 figures ( bushwakers, Headshrinkers and Marty Janetty and the rockers tag team) all others are sold out what he says to me.

It was like travelling in time to an old toy aisle (on steroids lol) seeing it. Still cool to even pick up those figures tho! There has to be more unearthed places like this left for us all

If I had seen the photos before I had jumped on a lot figures because the price is really sweet with $12.
