My Mania card that I would go with:
Brock/Reigns (WWE Universal Championship) Styles/Nakamura (WWE Championship) Cena/Taker (Career vs Career; whoever loses must retire) Triple H/Strowman Charlotte/Ronda (WWE Smackdown Women's Championship) Asuka/Alexa (WWE RAW Women's Championship) New Day/Jinder Mahal & Singh Brothers (6 Man Tag Team Match) Roode/Ziggler (WWE United States Championship) (Ladder Match) Miz/Balor (WWE Intercontinental Championship)

Most definitely Japanese wrestling is on the rise with Nakamura, Asuka and now Sane who also was in the Women's Royal Rumble Match

I hope everybody who wanted Styles/Nakamura is happy because you're going to be disappointed when they don't deliver.

I think some of you are against Rousey because of how it will effect the parity of the division, I get it.She's worth it though, her ceiling as a WWE performer is very high. I know the MMA thing gets old, here's to hoping we see some mat game. Big draw for WWE with some great dream matches on the horizon. This is a percentage of my reaction to her signing, yes. It's just annoying that we're going to more than likely witness both women's divisions dominated for the next several months. It's also frustrating that WWE will push everyone who they've been hyping for the "revolution" aside for a non-wrestler. It's just kinda defeating the supposed point of the revolution but that's just my opinion on that aspect. There's also the issue that I don't really care about Ronda being here. I "manage" Brock simply because I like Brock and he's fun to watch. I'd like him more if he'd have actual matches but that's another issue for another day. So.. now Ronda comes (assuming) in to play the Brock to the women's roster and I'm not going to be entertained because I'm not a fan. Hopefully that makes sense. It's like I said in the other thread about her.. I'm happy for those who are fans and are excited about this but it's just not my cup of tea.

Really enjoyed the show. WrestleMania is shaping up nicely. I was pulling for Finn, but he looked great in the match. I hope he gets a good spot at Mania. Balor/Miz would be good. Balor Club vs Miztourage.
One thing I was thinking about, does the Women’s Rumble become an annual thing or just a one time deal? I mean they couldn’t even fill 30 slots with current roster members. Not even close. They can’t just have the same nostalgia acts as surprises every year. So I think this should just be a one time thing and go back to basics next year.
The placement on the card for the men’s Rumble kind of threw the pacing off of the show a little bit. Let’s be honest, that’s the match we all look forward to for this event, and they gave it away in the 8 o’clock hour. I thought it was a forgone conclusion the women would open and the show would be bookended by the 2 Rumble matches.
A great weekend/month to be a wrestling fan. So many great things. WrestleMania weekend should be even better.

For a second I thought they may have had Trish win. She did awesome. I could see them doing a Trish vs Charlotte or now Rosey match down the line if she is willing.

Alicia Fox's tailbone died to save her from being overshadowed by Stephanie McMahon climaxing to making history.

Overall i enjoyed the PPV. The WWE Title was a great start, though could have been better if KO was 100%, i heard he was hurt. The Smackdown Tag Title match was OK. Weird ending. I loved the mens Rumble. I marked out for Rey returning. The Hurricane looked a little bloated but thats ok, i wasnt expecting him to look awesome. I hope hes the GM of 205 Live. Rey, i swear i thought he looked like he was in the same shape he was in when he first debuted for WWE. He was in great shape. I was so glad Nakamura won the Rumble. I still expect Roman vs Brock at Mania, but at least WWE is giving us something the majority wants, AJ vs Nakamura. I hope Nakamura delivers like AJ will. Lol at Slaters role in the Rumble. I wish it lasted longer. The RAW Tag Team Title match was good for what we got. I knew the Bar would regain. I guess Rollins vs Jordan for Elimination Chamber. I fell asleep after the introductions for the Universal Title and i woke up a minute before Lesnar got the win, so i cant say much about this match. After this, i turned to the Spanish commentary so idk how Stephanie was on commentary but i heard it was bad. For the surprise guests, im surprised we didnt get Billie Kay and/or Peyton Royce. I wish San lasted longer. I loved all the alumni, especially Trish. One thing i noticed about Trish and its not a criticism, she looks like she had work done in the chest area. She looked almost the size she was in when she was full time. Again, not a criticism cause she looked amazing, just an observation. Speaking of growing areas, Brie looked good tonight. Good choice on attire. I was a little scared that Nikki would win, so im glad Asuka won. Also, Sasha was horrible tonight. She missed Lita with her kicks by a mile. I love Lita, she was my second childhood crush after Trish, but she was the sloppiest outta all the alumni with Kelly Kelly second. I wish Beth would return for one more run. She looked amazing. I was surprised to see Ronda after the match. Monday should be interesting. I think i enjoyed the show more because i prepared my mind for the worst to happen, so when the best case scenario took place, i enjoyed it.

Vince was like "WHATS THIS EVERYONE TALKING ABOUT NEW JAPAN. ILL GIVE YOU SOME NEW JAPAN!" gives us old japan.
decent show. Im glad Nakamura won. Definitely needs it more in WWE. Roman has so many accomplishments already you forget about them. I forgot he won a Rumble until a few days ago and that was a big moment with the Rock getting booed with him.
Wouldve liked Bayley to win, but knew it would be Asuka or Nia. Got my friends who dont watch to watch and his wife was actually into it. So they did something right with it.

Happy to see they haven't completely given up on Nakamura. With how little he's actually done on the main roster, it's easy to slip the mind that Shinsuke has cleanly pinned Cena and Orton, and now has outlasted Da Big Dawg in a Rumble. Felt that he needed a tournament to pick up more momentum headed toward Mania but the smart crowd can now be pacified with a WWE Title match that will likely be in the first hour.
Asuka was obvious, not much else they could have done. Still seems the Horsewomen match will now be SD's women's title match with Asuka facing Bliss.
Didn't hit OTW's Rumble lot, but no one else can claim they had both Hurricane and Mighty Molly!
Onto my Road to WM binge, all 23 Manias I own on DVD plus HOF ceremonies.

I thought both Tag Team Championship matches were okay, nothing special but nothing bad either which is good. The Titles matches were solid, was hoping they might actually pull the trigger on Braun but nope.
As for the Rumble matches, they were likely the best Rumble matches in quite some time. The last time I was happy with an outcome was eight years ago when Edge won it, and the ending had me on the edge of my seat because I figured Roman was gonna win it. The surprises were actually really solid, seeing Hurricane was a nice surprise everything considered, and I definitely wasnt expecting Rey Mysterio at all. My only gripe was Dolph Ziggler because honestly, as talented as he is, I just cant bring myself to care about what he is doing, so that was a "meh" moment for me.
The Womens Rumble match was kinda frustrating because instead of just laying around the ring to catch their breathe they kept going under the rope, minor thing though. My other gripe was that none of the returns during the match were surprising except for Lita, Molly Holly, Vickie Guerrero and Beth Phoenix because they were just on RAW monday night. Other than that their Rumble was insanely good, much better than I expect and I was happy Asuka won it. As for Ronda Rousey, it kinda sucks that Asuka's moment got overshadowed by her because its something I felt they couldve done tomorrow night when Asuka would choose who to face but it is what it is, im excited to see what she brings.
All in all, one of the better Rumbles ive seen recently and it seemed like WWE was actually giving us what we wanted this year instead of making dumb booking decisions.

They would deliver if Nakamura would actually give a damn and produce in WWE but that'll be the day. Maybe Mania will be the time he steps up and does it. I hope so, because if he phones his performance in that night like he usually does, he’s done.
