Is Charles Robinson the only still-active performer in WWE who came to the company as a result of the '01 WCW buyout?

Booker T. I guess you’d count him as “active”, if we’re counting referees.

Is this an accurate list? Taken from: another wrestling forum site - /classic-wrestling/1113289-wrestlers-who-switched-wcw-wwf-wwf-wcw-90-01-year-year-list.html
If so there are a few who are behind the scenes.
Booker T Diamond Dallas Page Billy Kidman Chris Kanyon Sting (Final Nitro WCW was technically owned by WWF, although it was a one time appearance and was out of his control so it's debatable) Raven Lance Storm Mike Awesome Buff Bagwell Hugh Morrus Stacey Keibler (aka Ms. Hancock) Torrie Wilson Shane Helms (aka The Hurricane, Hurricane Helms) Scott Steiner (same as Sting Final Nitro owned by WWF, later joined WWF anyway) Sean O'Haire Chuck Pulumbo Chavo Guerrero Jr. Ric Flair Elix Skipper Shannon Moore Evan Karagias Shawn Stasiak (aka Meat) Johnny the Bull Rey Mysterio (appeared on Final Nitro, didn't sign with WWF til 02) Kaz Hayashi Yung Yang The Wall/Malice Jamie Noble Mark Jindrak Jerry Lynn (aka Mr. JL) Fit Finley

No, not at all. Maybe like 6 people on that list are still a part of WWE in some capacity.

Not those who are still with the company.

The only two people who had a continuous employment in the WWE since the buyout of WCW is Charles Robinson and John Laurinaitis. Guys like Booker T, Fit Finlay, Jamie Noble, and Billy Kidman doesn't count. Booker T left for TNA and Finlay and Kidman were let go but later re-hired. Noble left to work Japan and ROH but re-hired. Out of all of the wrestlers, the one with the longest continuous run was Shane Helms who left the WWE in 2010.

I have been wondering about WHO was left from the WCW sale, and all I too could come up with was Charles Robinson. Its kinda sad, but at the same time, its been nearly 17 years. The wrestling industry has changed a lot and multiple times since then. Even if WWE had never purchased WCW, all that change would have still happened.

After doing fact checking, I stand corrected. You are right about that. Didn't realize Chavo Jr. was with the WWE till 2011.

Not those who are still with the company. Raven isn’t correct. He quit WCW in 99, went back to ECW and won the tag titles with Dreamer for that TNN run, and was in WWF by like summer 2000. So he didn’t come over when the company was sold.

Chris Jericho was in the WWE long before the WCW buyout. I’m pretty sure it’s just Charles Robinson and Booker T left from that 2001 purchase. Unless there’s a road agent I’m not sure of.

I just read "only original wCw left" Goldberg was around and will probably have 1 or 2 more matches. Hurricane Helms will probably come back as well. Also the biggest one is AJ Styles.

Lil' Naitch and Johnny Ace are the only people to stay with the company continuity since 2001, Booker T, Billy Kidman and Jaime Knoble all had breaks before coming back.

WWE didn’t pick up AJ’s contract when they bought WCW.

What do you mean “had breaks before coming back”? He means they haven't continuously been with the company since the buyout of WCW, Booker went to TNA, Jamie was in ROH etc in the mid 2000s. OP was looking for continuous employment

OP was looking for continuous employment No, the OP asked who was a still-active member of the WWE from the 2001 WCW buyout. Booker T and anyone else would fit that description.
