Has anyone ever purchased these in the past or any recently? I've always wanted one but they can be expensive. I'm surprised to see the wrestlemania 33 ones still available. Are they worth the $?

The signed ones by the likes of HHH, Cena, Taker, Lesnar can be worth the money but otherwise, I'm all for creating something personal that not everyone else has and getting a wrestler to sign it.

They're expensive for what they are, but I'd say they're worth it. So far the only one I own is the Sasha Banks 4x RAW Women's Champion one with a piece of the Summerslam 2017 ring canvas, but I'm tempted to buy more, despite the fact that I have no more wall space. Good quality print, good quality frame.

It's a curious case to determine how much they're really worth and how much they will be worth. I have one of the 500 Wrestlemania 24 ones with Orton and a piece of ring mat and it was around 150 I think when I got it but if you look on eBay, you'll see them being sold for around $100. Now this is most likely simply because people are desperate for a quick buck and don't want it anymore but it still leaves you to wonder how much is this thing actually worth being one of only 500 from 9 years ago

I would wait until a really special moment for you, and then get the plaque for that!
I have two of the WrestleMania 33 plaques- one is just the small commemorative Undertaker one with a piece of the ring mat, and then I have the huge Hardy Boys one, too. I love both of them and only spent around $60 on the Undertaker one and got the Hardy Boys one for like $140 on WWEShop's Black Friday sale. I waited it out and tested my luck to see if they would still be in stock and go on sale, and they went down over $100! This was the first WrestleMania I have ever been to live, and it is such a special night for me. I had an incredible time and always will remember them, but its nice to have the plaques to take my back every time I look up from my desk.
and honestly, if the Hardy Boys one didn't go on sale, I am not so sure I would've bought it. It was an incredible moment and I'll never forget it, but $250 is a lot of money. Granted, it is HUGE! Like, I thought it was half the size it was and then it came in the mail and I couldn't believe it. It's also designed really nicely and is signed by both of them, limited to 500, and has a piece of a ladder from the match. Its an awesome collector's piece, but it was still a lot of money. Maybe I would have given in eventually, maybe not. I was pretty pleased with the smaller Undertaker one I had since that seemed like a bigger moment for me.
All in all, if you've got the money and you're thinking about it, go for it. They're beautiful pieces to any collector and WWE does a great job designing them. If you're spending the money though, I would really go for a plaque from your favorite wrestler winning the world title or a WrestleMania, or even an event you went to. Something that sticks out to you for some reason.

Ive bought several (Undertaker signed ring rope WM25,26,27,28, CM Punk, Randy Orton SS '11, Cena WM22) but they were from 2009-2012 and they were each $70 or $99 or cheaper after a promo code. The crap for sale they have today is so overpriced and isn't even signed most of the time. Its a total ripoff.

If you went to the event or if it has a piece of the ropes and your a big collector then it's worth it.
I want to buy a Mania 33 plaque since it would be great to have a piece of the ring rope of my 1st Mania but it's really expensive so unless the price goes down it's a pass for me.

Would anyone say the wrestlemania 33 thank you taker plaque is worth getting? It isn't signed which is truly sad, but has a piece of the ring rope. It could be his last meaningful plaque representing his last match so it's catching my eye. The price has kept me from pulling the trigger as it was listed at 249.99. This week it was marked down to 199.99, still too high for me, and today they have 25% off and that would put it at 149 I believe. I've always wanted a wrestlemania one because they are huge and not those small ones they put out constantly for 64.99. I appreciate everyone's responses by the way!

I love the WWE plaques but think they have our prices themselves in recent years.
In a related question, has anyone ever brought one of the unsigned plaques and tried to remove the back to get it signed? Wanted to try with the Shield and Kurt Angle TLC plaque but wasnβt sure if itβll ruin it.

I've wondered myself if the photos are removable. Some of the unsigned ones are nice and would be great to have signed but I don't own any yet to determine if it's possible.

I own three: Michaels Mania 12, Punk 434, Punk vs Brock. I have different reasons for each. Michaels because he was my favorite American wrestler at the time and back then they didn't do plaques that much. The Punk 434, although i didn't watch at the time, he was my favorite in ROH and thought it was amazing they he was champ for so long and they made a plaque for it. Brock vs Punk was a match I never thought we would see and the plaque is awesome. I did watch the match before i ordered it. The big factor in it is they are signed. While i collect signed merch, i mainly stick to TTM or from reputable dealers these days. I don't have the time to get stuff signed in person anymore. I met Brock a long time ago and got his signature but with the plaque it has three signatures.

I'm not sure tbh. I bought the Alexa Bliss plaque that commemorates her being the first to hold the SDL and Raw titles. And I wanted to buy the AJ Styles Backlash one where he won his first WWE Championship, but couldn't pull the trigger.
I was thinking of acquiring AJ's second WWE title plaque but without a piece of the canvas or rope or auto, I'm not biting--especially since I can't take advantage of the 25% off sale since that plaque is still conveniently on pre-order despite having a release date of Christmas 2017.
I went to mania this past year and didn't want any plaque despite it being my first. I don't think I'm motivated enough to buy them

They're definitely worth it.
I have 5 (all of) Alexa's. A BAYLEY one for when she won the raw women's title. A taker one from mania 32. And a big one they did at the end of 2014 with a peice of the mat from every PPV.
I wanna get the big undertaker and hardys ones from mani 33. I should've grabbed them on Black Friday when they were like $100 off. Lol

@havoc7179 I had no idea they had a second aj plaque up, but I know what you mean. I've been eyeing the charlotte flair one where she beat Natalya for that title in charlotte with a piece of of the mat from that night, and would if I could get the 25% off. It says pre-order with a release of 12/22? @ c-scope, I've thought about getting an alexa plaque, but the only one available is the tlc 2017 one. It's ok but just commemorating a title defense isn't worth 64.99 to me. Maybe if they slash the price on it. Most all the wrestlemania 33 plaques are still available. Maybe if they didn't price them so high.

Yeah I would say they are worth the money. I would not pay full price though, but on sale I definitely say yes. I have two. I purchased the Alexa Bliss one commemorating both title wins, and the Bobby Roode win at NXT Takeover: Orlando. I got Alexa to sign hers and it looks amazing. I wouldn't purchase an event one unless I was actually there, but that is my own personal preference. I say go for it.
