So these sold about two years ago. The auction had a very poor title so a lot of people never even saw the listing. I know Pandel is the one who got them initially, including an Unreleased Bruno Sammartino...BUT does anyone who own owns any of these now? Was hoping to get in contact with one of the owners, looking to throw down in 2018 to better my Prototype collection. Anyone possible have any leads?

I heard about this sale as well. Sold for way below what they are probably worth.

I heard about this sale as well. Sold for way below what they are probably worth. Yeah sold for under $500 for the lot which didn't show the Bruno which the seller threw in for free. The thing about this is that it was sold in February...in December I bought a 16" Hogan still in box from the seller and was going to ask if she had any other wrestling items but decided against it...man, what a mistake that was. Who would ever think someone would have this kind of stuff?

I really wish I went for this one. Too incredibly cool.
Btw whenever I visit back home next year, I'm going to want to hook up and check out your collection in person 👍

When these appeared on eBay, they had a very poor title listing; I don't even think they were listed as LJN or WWF or even bendies -- so they undersold because no one even knew they were listed. At the time, I was looking for a Bobby Heenan bendy and never came across this listing while it was active. The same seller also sold the LJN dealer catalog prototypes of Jimmy Hart and the Iron Sheik; I believe those sold for a little bit more because by then news of this seller was posted on the forums. The bendies sold to Pandelis the Greek for only a couple of hundred dollars. Right after the auction, he posted to his facebook page that he was accepting offers. I had just bought some LJN figures from him and I offered $3k for the set, but he wanted that amount for each figure and said he had received offers larger than that ---- I'm crazy with my figure collecting, but not that crazy I don't know who they eventually sold to. One of the duplicate Terry Funks sold for $2,500 on eBay. I have a lot of unproduced prototypes from popular toy lines and it's only with WWF figures that people ask for some of the most "out there" prices. I can only imagine what the entire set sold for. Here's an image from Facebook:

Here's an image from Facebook: I know he sold one of the Terry Funk's for $1400. That seller also had a listing titled something along the lines of wrestling figure samples, think it was like $49.99 and it ended without any bidders. It ended I believe minutes before the LJN Bendies which did not have any good keywords in the title from my memory. The thing with the other auction is that it had Resin Prototypes like The Iron Sheik in it. Just crazy to think what steals there were with these and its just shocking that the bidders of the bendies didn't catch onto that other auction, I guess much of the attention was focused on these, as rightfully it should be...but man, what GEMS. The seller also didn't know the difference between common ordinary production figures to prototypes. I recall her trying to sell a normal Hogan figure with an insane starting bid.

I saw that samples lot and nearly bid on it before it ended w/o any other action as well. Not being a collector these days, I felt it would be a slippery slope had I done that (as rvd can surely sympathize with). I didn't feel right buying only to re-sell either, so I let the vultures do their thing later. There was also a hand-painted Capt. Lou in that lot, with the different hair (and whatever else). Can't recall at the moment what else was in there, but Jimmy Hart & Sheik were the most notable for sure.
