So, I see this going:
KO and Zayn win to become new Champion.
DB says sorry AJ, but it's in your contract to never get a rematch for the WWE Title after you lose it. That's just the way it is. Some things will never change.
DB goes through a car door.
DB vs. AJ at Mania Shane as the ref. Somehow AJ is the heel in this because its Daniel Bryan and he went through a car door.
KO v. Zayn at Mania to determine who the Champion is.
This is the only way it can end. You get two new compelling storylines: AJ vs. an Authority figure who has it out for him and KO versus his former best friend.
Wait a second...this seems familiar.

Love this Bryan storyline.
Hate the Phenomenal Forearm as a finisher.

Love this Bryan storyline. Hate the Phenomenal Forearm as a finisher. When was the last time they used the Styles clash as a finisher on tv???

Itll be interesting to see how this handicap match for the title at the Rumble happens. If this is a setup to break up KO and Sami, then I'll be disappointing as heel Sami has been a highlight to watch

The Phenomenal Forearm always seemed good enough to be a finisher in TNA. A lot of times the live audience expected it to be the finisher. I was really very happy when WWE made that his big move.
It'd be surprising if this Bryan-Shane story directly led to a particular Wrestlemania match for AJ or the WWE Championship. I think they're just stalling until after the Rumble.

I feel like given the storyline, this is the only thing that makes sense. Otherwise you have a rushed shot for the title (assuming the RR winner isn't from SDL).
