Do you think it would benefit the WWE franchise if the series took a gap year (not making a game in 2018 for example) and then releasing a bigger game the year after? Maybe even a two year gap break? They could roll out a superstar and arena DLC for 2K18 to cover the missing time. I'd really love a Shut Your Mouth on speed, with the ability to wrestle in the street again, maybe link it in with a story mode so you're wrestling all over the world? Also motion-capturing and implementing a massive roster?

These games sell, as much as we complain about them. Why take off a year or 2, thus missing sales?

I was perfectly happy with 2K18. As long as they continue to make improvements each year, I see no need to take a break.

I got bored of 2k18. I’m still kicking myself for getting the Deluxe Edition. I’ll play maybe twice a month at most. I agree with this idea.

No. Sales aren’t going to double the following year.

It will never happen the annual WWE game is a huge cash cow for the WWE. No matter what publisher gets the WWE license I would bet part of that agreement is that they have to have a game out annually.
I have said it a million times, but they need to take the Call Of Duty approach and have at least two developers working on a WWE game. That way they can have a two year development cycle and it will stop feeling like we get the same game each year.
As far as single player content goes, the last two WWE games have been boring as hell.
