I love this line, so happy they are releasing hasbro-styled figures again. I do get frustrated with the lack of other molds, the Jumper mold should never have been used for Goldberg and I’m not impressed with Flair either, the knee pads and boots are not accurate. Favourites so far include AJ Styles, Brock Lesnar (by far the best one IMO), Kevin Owens, Sting, and probably Steve Austin. Bray Wyatt looks good.
I’d like to see more accessories. New molds, tag packs and a current era ring. But overall very happy with Mattel’s efforts! Long May they carry on.

I agree, I'm also not that impressed with the Ric Flair - the boots and knee pads are off. Also, I think the head sculpt from Hasbro is better than this one. I've been saying it for a while, I think Mattel should do what Hasbro did for the first 4 series - no repeat body molds. Even if you have the same action (jumper, clothesline, etc.) the body mold can be different. For instance, Hasbro had 5 figures that did the clothesline action in the first 4 series, Macho King, Big Boss Man 2, Greg Valentine, Brian Knobbs, and the Undertaker, however, the body molds for each looked different. Same with gorilla press figures, Demolition Ax, Hulk Hogan 1, Ultimate Warrior 2, British Bulldog, and the Warlord, neither of the body molds looked the same even thought they performed the same action. I would also like to see tag team packs, figures of managers and announcers, as well as titles.

I'm going to lose my mind waiting for this ring to come out. It looks great. I'm glad they are making macho man but it should've been the macho man Hasbro missed with long pants. Hopefully they find a way to make that too. I will buy every figure made in this line, but they really should be making more wrestlers from the past.

Anyone else think the ring is a mash up between the WCW Galoob ring and the Hasbro ring? It gives that feel to me.

IMO the only Macho Hasbro has missed is the Macho King long pants. Best would be King from WM7. Also I'd take a Warrior as a companion piece.

The best possible long pants Savage would be one based on a promo pic, ideally that 8x10. Real Hasbros rarely made figures based on event specific gear and more commonly did stuff based on promo shots or, in the case of the Warrior, weird amalgamations of various attires. But I don't really recall a figure in gear so specific that it could be traced to a single match or event.

If we can get two of Kevin Owens, hopefully we can get two of macho man. I'd also take another warrior I head swapped my warrior with one of the elites and added the elite tassels. Looks much better.

I love my old Hasbro rings and all the great memories but it will be so nice to have a shiny brand new ring for my poor old Hasbro figures lol.

Been looking into the UPCs some more for upcoming Retros, and once again BrickSeek came through for me. My goal was to zero in on as many of the missing UPCs from my previous list as I could. Fortunately for me, Target has been adding a lot of stuff in anticipation of the new year. What piqued my interest most of all was the three items priced at $24.99 or higher. I know Bill said 2-Packs were unlikely, but what other explanation would there be for $24.99 WWE products positioned so closely to recently-released Retros UPCs? Also, I wonder if the $29.99 listing is for the upcoming Retros Ring. If not, it sure wouldn't be a bad price for a New Day Retros 3-Pack. Several of the names listed before (Cena, HBK, Undertaker, Enzo, Jericho, Big Cass) could end up being changed. I'd like to think that Macho Man is a lock, but the BrickSeek listing has no image attached, unlike Sami Zayn. We've heard from @wwetnafigures on Twitter that the next wave coming in April includes Finn Balor, Sami Zayn, Ric Flair, and Kevin Owens #2. If I had to guess, I would say the three UPCs directly beneath 887961575781 are meant for Balor/Flair/Owens #2. If you lookup Zayn's UPC, you'll find this prototype image. 887961575767 - WWE AJ Styles Retro App Action Figure (DPCI: 087-06-0571) 887961575781 - WWE Toys To Life Core Figures Assorted/Retro App Assortment 887961575798 - WWE (DPCI: 087-06-0688)887961575804 - WWE (DPCI: 087-06-0697)887961575811 - WWE (DPCI: 087-06-0627)887961575828 - WWE (DPCI: 087-06-0633) [$24.99]887961575835 - WWE John Cena Retro App Action Figure 887961575842 - WWE (DPCI: 087-06-0693) [$24.99]887961575859 - WWE Dean Ambrose Retro App Action Figure (DPCI: 087-06-0568) 887961575866 - WWE Seth Rollins Retro App Action Figure (DPCI: 087-06-0567) 887961575880 - WWE Goldberg Retro App Action Figure (DPCI: 087-06-0619) 887961575927 - WWE Sami Zayn Retro App Action Figure (DPCI: 087-06-0656) 887961575941 - WWE (DPCI: 087-06-0657) [$29.99]887961575958 - WWE Shawn Michaels Retro App Action Figure 887961575965 - WWE Undertaker Retro App Action Figure 887961575989 - WWE Toys to Life Summerslam Action Figure Assortment/Retro App Assortment 887961575996 - WWE Enzo Amore Retro App Action Figure 887961576009 - WWE Chris Jericho Retro App Action Figure 887961576023 - WWE Big Cass Retro App Action Figure 887961576030 - WWE Macho Man Randy Savage Retro App Action Figure (DPCI: 087-06-0700) I would also recommend keeping an eye out for these four codes. Don't know if they're Retros or Hall of Champions Elites (Series 2) or something else entirely, but I find it very interesting that these fall almost perfectly in line with the UPCs for upcoming Walmart Exclusive Flashback Elites. 887961640854 - WWE (DPCI: 087-06-0808) 887961640861 - WWE (DPCI: 087-06-0776) 887961640878 - WWE (DPCI: 087-06-0774) 887961640885 - WWE (DPCI: 087-06-0800)

Have the HOC basic 2-packs shown up in the system yet? $24.99 would make sense as a price point for them, though that wouldn't fit with the numbering being similar to Retro UPC's.

Yes, but those are not the Hall of Champions Battle Packs. FNW38 - WWE Hall of Champions Figure 2-Pack Assortment (UPC: 887961603378) FNW39 - WWE Hall of Champions The Miz & Dean Ambrose Figure 2-Pack (UPC: 887961603347) FNW40 - WWE Hall of Champions Batista & John Cena Figure 2-Pack (UPC: 887961603330)
