This is cool. I always thought Saturn was a bad mf'er back in the day. Especially during his Raven's Flock days. Hope all works out for him someday.

I remember hearing Saturn on Jericho's podcast and it bummed me out to hear he came on such hard times since I grew up and still am a child of WCW. I'll look into this and see what I can contribute.

it's definitely sad to see guys that i grew up watching in these conditions.
and yeah, raven can be a jerk and regularly comes off as one. he admits that himself. for a guy with an iq as high as his you'd think he'd have a better concept of tactfulness.

Raven came across as such a douche just there.....STUPID IDIOT! Sad to see the position Perry is in now. What actually happened to him?
I'm hoping moppy gets an honorable mention or an interview too!

I always loved the Eliminator's in the original ECW. The stuff they were doing was so ahead of it's time.
He was the perfect "enforcer" for the Flock, and had some tremendous matches.
I honestly think Saturn could've been a good WCW Champion in the late 90's, had all the infamous WCW politics not have gotten in the way. He was getting some of the loudest reactions. Hell, they put him in a dress, and he was still getting some of the loudest pops.
It's too bad his WWE tenure went down the tube, but I'm pretty sure he always had a lot of demons that kept him from reaching his full potential.
I'm a big Perry Saturn fan, and hope this comes to fruition, as he definitely deserves the recognition.

I heard that some woman was about to get raped and he tried to intervene. He ended up getting shot and got addicted to the painkillers and was homeless for like 2 years.

Thats Raven though. His gimmick has been just that for 30 years. Listen to his podcast, Saturn is one of his best friends.

Well the thing that really put the final nail in any attempt of him being a serious member of the roster was when he beat the living crap out of Mike Bell. That was the incident that I'm pretty sure lead to him being given the Moppy gimmick. Raven came across as such a douche just there.....STUPID IDIOT! Sad to see the position Perry is in now. Yeah, he came to the aid of two guys trying to rape a woman, and one of the gutless cowards shot him twice, once in the back of the neck and once in the arm. That's what lead to him getting addicted to meth. It's said, that doing the right thing basically lead to his life falling apart.

Just trying to make sense of this...
Perry's fallen on hard times because, after doing the right thing and coming to the aid of a potential rape victim, his life hit a downward spiral brought about by injuries from rendering said aid.
Perry has no money, med bills piling up, and is all but destitute.
So, they're going to raise money to put together a documentary?
Why not raise the money for Perry to get help? The amount of money the guy is asking for can certainly go towards helping with his medical and any other bills he may have.
I don't think I fully understand why they are going for a documentary over actual aid--unless they're hoping getting his story out there will prompt more donations.

I thought the same thing, actor reenactments and "animated scenes"? Why? Just make the damn doc with that you have available and give Perry the money. I will not be donating.

I believe Saturn has his own go fund me for himself that Raven set up for him. This is a way for people to hear his story and possibly get him even more money.

I think guys like Jericho and Raven have enough money to donate the cause.
Wrestlers don't look at us as fans, they look at us as marks. Marks that can give them money. No thanks. I gave enough money to them over the years in buying wrestling figures, PPVs, and t-shirts.

He just don’t strike me as someone who would Be smart with their money. I could be wrong though. And yeah I agree with the marks statement. Oh poor me I gave my body to entertain you. All jobs come with risks. Why doesn’t he do more conventions and signings? At least that gives back to the fan a little.

To both of you: Your ass is showing. I could see if the guy was living large and tore through his money with hookers and blow, but that's not what happened here. I'm glad to see you're both compassionate, and I'm also glad that you both know how much money Jericho and Raven have in their bank accounts. Ever stop to think that they have helped him? You know what else you don't know ~*Young $ Money*~ ? Saturn does do signings. But how many people do you think are kicking the door in to get his autograph, huh? Tell me that. Say he sells his sig for $25 and sells ten of them. That's $250. Well, GOT DANG, maybe he can buy groceries this week now. I'm seriously ashamed of both of you.

Saturn spent his money on drugs during his hey-days in wrestling, and then spent what was left of it on crystal meth and such. So I am not gonna feel sorry for someone who didn't think of his future before drugs. If I went homeless tomorrow, I doubt you, Saturn, or anyone would care about me. Secondly, Jericho has a net worth of like 18 million dollars!! So he has more than enough to help out. Jericho also donates thousands of dollars to wrestlers for operations and if they have passed away. So he could easily help fund this documentary. Thirdly, you are ashamed of me?? Oh no, someone I never met and just uses an online forum with me is ashamed of me. How will I ever sleep tonight??
