Hopefully that Bulldog basic is from the late 90's with short hair. Godfather in purple. A good Surfer Sting in neon colors and a Flair with flowing hair, sunglasses and a suit from the 80's (like in my profile pic) would be nice. Xpunk Shane McMahon. I agree with you on the British Bulldog figure, hopefully it is one from the later 90s since we have already had a few figures of the early 90s of him. Since the other figures in the set seem to be from the attitude era its possible that he could be in the jeans attire he wore when he returned in 1999-2000: Though, I would prefer the 1995-96 Heel Davey Boy instead:

Does anyone know what the attires will be for the Ricky Steamboat and Dusty Rhodes? WCW, NWA, or WWF? Will the Paul Bearer look like the Build-a-Figure that came out or will he look different - like the way he looked in the late 90s with red hair instead of black and a little heavier? I could see a WrestleMania III Elite Steamboat and a repaint of the Target Exclusive HOF Ring Dusty coming. Bearer without makeup would be something different, but I wouldn't bank on it for a solo Elite figure. If the steamboat figure comes with the white robe and headband from mania III, that would be cool. I would also like some of his WCW attires: Hopefully, if the Dusty is WWF Dusty, it will be one of these looks and not a repeat of what we have already got:

I just went to my local Walmart and there's was literally nothing. The only thing I saw was a Mutants Stardust and a Universal Title Belt. Is Walmart restocking or is my Walmart just garbage?

Wasn’t there a leaked walmart flashback list a while back that had doink, Vader and a few others?

My Walmart unloaded all the new basics and 2 packs. But no elites yet.

If Dusty doesn’t have Sapphire, I don’t want ‘em

Wasn’t there a leaked walmart flashback list a while back that had doink, Vader and a few others? Yes, but I think those were a little more uncertain and likely the reason for Bill speaking out against them. He said sometimes work isn't even started on the figures in these lineups. They are preliminary placeholder lists which sometimes do change before an official one is released to the retailer. There is no guarantee of getting names like Razor, Mabel, RVD, Doink, Alundra, Vader, and Roddy Piper. HBK was the only one from that batch to come away with any kind of official product number, but as mentioned before his status is also undetermined. The one issue I took with Bill's viewpoint was that no one ever said any of the names were promised to us. It's all to be taken with a grain of salt unless Ringside confirms it or proto images show up online. We know that, or at least I hope the majority knows that going in. I always try to make it a point to mention that these lineups are subject to change and not at all confirmed by anyone at Mattel. In the meantime, while I wait for future lineups to be confirmed, I enjoy the side hobby of speculating about what's yet to come for Mattel WWE figures, but only if I have a shred of proof to back it up. I would never intentionally mislead anyone here.

I would never intentionally mislead anyone here. I completely agree with this viewpoint. I understand Bill not wanting anyone to get excited about a figure that may or may not come out. Ultimately until a figure hits store shelves all bets are off, as we've seen with the HOF Cactus, Nitro 4 pack, build-a-Mean Gene line, and other recent examples. But I think Mattel does a poor job of engaging and marketing their product to their collector base. That falls on Mattel marketing, not Bill. Even something as simple as the shadow reveals they did for the first NXT series would go a long way to keeping collectors excited and informed about the product. To me, speculating about figures and the anticipation of the next waves hitting stores is one of the most enjoyable parts of collecting.

I would also like some of his WCW attires: I doubt very much that they will include a robe/jacket if the rumoured figure is a WM3 elite. Due to budgetary issues most figs now days are pretty much bare bones with barely any accessories. If its a WM3 elite then I would like the jacket as well but if they can't include it then I would prefer a WCW attire (Chi Town Rumble?) instead. They have made 3 WWF attired figures of Steamboat, its time they made at least one WCW attire as well to represent his run there.

I often use the Series 5 2-Pack figure that came with Jericho as a WCW Steamboat in my display because I wish Mattel would make one. Just so everyone's clear, I think we could see an Elite WM III Steamboat, but that doesn't mean we will.

If Steamboat is in the same wave as Dude, I think it has to be WM III or maybe his Chitown Rumble green tights. I don't know that they could pull off two deco heavy figures and stay in budget. But I'd love a WCW Steamboat.

If they don't do a robe with the elite Ricky Steamboat from WM 3 then it is pointless to make that figure at all. They already did a basic version of him from WM 3, doing that figure as an elite without the robe would be pointless. He doesn't even have much design on his attire (just a dragon on his boots, nothing on the tights they're plain white) so the deco shouldn't be that expensive were they wouldn't be able to add the robe. If they are going to just release the figure with no robe then hopefully they do one of his attire designs from WCW at least they have an interesting design on the tights.

I wonder if the polls that had HHH, Big Show, Mark Henry and Bobby Heenan will constitute one wave of this line. It's been almost a year since those polls. We did see Heenan and Henry as "sneak peeks" at Ringside Fest but we still don't even know who won for HHH and Big Show.

Still patiently awaiting word on some Hercules, though.

I just ran to my walmart, no flashback series. But I asked a worker to check out back and they bring me a fresh box of elite 54. I took both the USO figures. Then I asked her if there was any chance she would put them in the back till 8am and so tomorrow bray Wyatt and Flair will be coming with me. At least some good luck.

I agree. As you mentioned WM3 Steamboat has very little deco so that should allow for them to be able to include a cloth robe, although I still have a feeling if this is the Steamboat they release it will just come with an IC belt. I hope I am wrong and the one good thing here is that it will be part of a store exclusive line- I noticed that these lines seem to have a slightly higher budget as they are coming with more accessories (depending on the figure) than the figures in the main elite line. Elites have been coming with more accessories than they have in years Most of the accessories you see now are plastic junk, I was referring to cloth (fabric) accessories which are now few and far between. Thankfully though Bill is still finding a way to include some cloth accessories here and there, although for the price point at which these figures sell it would be nice to see more.

I agree for the most part but we're definitely getting more cloth goods in upcoming releases, Anderson/Joe are in the same set and both have cloth goods (not to mention the table/chair with Roman and the high dec on Gallow's jacket), Charlotte's got the robe in the same wave with Cena, so it looks like we're getting more cloth than the typical one per set.

Checked mine yesterday and they were resetting the toys and had Flashback tags up. Woman scanned them and said they would be in Friday or Saturday.
