I wonder if they will use Jarrett's theme of this theme when he comes out for his induction speech

Gonna be honest, this is probably one of the weakest HOF classes in recent memory. Not saying they dont deserve it but there doesnt seem to be that "wow factor" with any of them so far. You forget the year that was headlined by Ted Dibiase. And I love Ted.

NOBODY other than Hulk Hogan should induct Hillbilly Jim. I really hope he's the one to do it.

Loved playing as HBJ in SmackDown Here Comes The Pain. They gave him Hulk Hogans Famous Leg Drop as a finisher

Forgettable mid-carder? Some of you forgot that guys like Hillbilly were on Network television and tagging with Hulk Hogan in major arenas. That is without even getting into the cartoon. Wrestling was mainstream, Hillbilly benefited from being in the right place at the right time no doubt. You are free to argue about the talent of Hillbilly and Koko B Ware, but they were visible in mainstream pop culture. That is something the ruthless aggression era guys who were more talented can't say, they really were forgettable. Get ready for some Attitude era mid careers to get in eventually. If you wrestled in front of big houses, to big ratings, and you were over, you're gonna get remembered and probably enshrined. Name recognition is everything.

That's the point I've been trying to emphasize when people make a bitch fit about the HOF for YEARS now.

Happy to see Hillbilly Jim in the HOF. Long overdue in my opinion. This is looking like a great class so far. Goldberg, Dudley Boyz, Hillbilly Jim. All stars I'll definitely watch get inducted.

Am I right in thinking Hillbilly Jim is employed by the WWE and has been since 1985? I’m sure I read that somewhere.
If true, that could be as much a factor in his selection for the HOF.
Either way good to see him go in

Somewhere Fred Durst is solemnly taking off his red baseball cap looking at a mirror fighting back the tears, remembering he used to be the lead singer for WWE’s favorite band. He begins signing “Behind Blue Eyes” to himself.
Anyways hope that with Kid Rock getting inducted we’ll get the Undertaker’s true American Badass theme in 2k19. I will give WWE a pass for not going with Cyndi Lauper or Andy Kaufman or Lemmy.
