What would constitute "knocking it out the park"? Maybe not figures that are just straight up repaints for one? Maybe a figure we've only had maybe once before or not at all. Something to get people buying it. Do you have any examples? This line isn't aimed solely at the tiny niche market of hardcore collectors who whine about repaints. And if it was, and they were filling it with first-time figures, people would complain about it being an exclusive and thus not available within ten seconds walking distance of their house.

No, you’re right, they’re aimed at kids, who will say, no thanks Mum, I already have that exact same one.

Do you realise I'm from the UK and probably won't see these figures in store or online? I was questioning mattels logic on launching a new line with such boring/lazy/uninspiring figures. A John cena? I mean c'mon how many do we have already. The line will fail if that's the sort of line ups they will put out.

Not every kid who is a wrestling fan already has every figure - if they did, they'd already be hardcore collectors whining about repaints or figures not being available in their back garden.

That Batista is awful.
It uses 2014 Batista parts for his 2010 look...

I just saw a new basic Nash on the usual place, just imagine the Diesel bottom, RSC top, and Elite 16 head, that'd be cool if he was with Giant in the next series, though I guess he could be a Network Spotlight, since we haven't seen any new ones lately. Papi Joker just pointed this out to me. If there are unreleased figures for sale and they claim to be sold by Aussie sellers, it's best to work under the assumption that they are not what they say they are. Please keep in mind the sticky at the top of the board. Thank you. forum.wrestlingfigs.com/thread/251212/illegally-obtained-figures-chinese-overseas

How is the figure choices poor? Cena who sells the most merch ever! Ambrose was the WWE champion until recently, the Rock is an absolutely huge superstar, and Miz made the IC title relevant again. Hardly poor choices It's Batista. Not Rock unfortunately. Yes. God forbid we don't get the same exact Rock in black trunks with white lettering we've gotten the last 5 times. Oh, I'm sorry. I forgot one or teo have different heads. They should do the Acolytes. I'd prefer elites, but I'll take whatever the hell I can get. Or maybe New Age Outlaws. Or Edge and Undertaker. Or Randy Orton and Edge. Or Randy Orton and Cactus Jack. Razor and HBK. Or Mr. Perfect and Bret. Or Warrior and Rude. Jesus, there are so many good options. The ones they chose are lame.

They look cool but this is nothing more than battle packs. Battle packs with accessories and a price that reflects the accessories being included. That packaging, to me, looks like it should go with elites. The first pics I saw of Cena and Ambrose make them figures I don't want but I can see young children being very excited to have these as their first figures.
