No thanks. That is a waste of the Royal Rumble if you ask me. Sure it would be a great moment when his music hit, but he will never be the same as he was prior to his injury. And honestly there’s no pay off for it because he wouldn’t win the title. I doubt the WWE feels he would be healthy enough to have a run with the title so he won’t beat a AJ.
If he feels he needs one more match it would be better/smarter for them to just to build a story up that ends with victory in a match at WrestleMania. If Miz was still on SD that would have been perfect. I really don’t want or need to see Shane in a match. But as things stand now I guess that would be who his match would be against.

The betting odds are really the only thing that make me think twice about it being a possibility. Typically, though, the "smart money" doesn't come in until a few days before the show.
We'll see. If this is true, it's an all-time great moment, guaranteed. If it isn't, and this hits all corners of the Internet, nothing else will do for a good portion of the fans and we'll get a repeat of the last several Rumbles no matter who wins.

even if he does come back I have absolutely no trust in wwe to handle it properly. even Daniel Bryan overcoming Batista, Orton and triple h in one night didn’t wash the bad taste of months and months of the company ignoring daniel’s popularity and mocking the fans.
maybe you guys don’t remember the endless raws being opened by Stephanie and triple h literally making fun of the fans and Daniel Bryan. I do remember.

I would say there's about a 0.1% chance this happens. If Bryan were finally medically cleared by the WWE, we would've heard something about it by now. Also, considering how over Bryan is/was, why wouldn't they promote the hell out of it if he was actually going to return to the ring? This all points towards the company wanting everyone to get their hopes up for the No. 30 entrant, only to troll them by having Roman come out again. Vince loves nothing more than going out of his way to disappoint his fans these days.

I’d rather see AJ/Nakamura at Mania over AJ/Bryan. The only match he should be put in is against Shane considering they’ve been butting heads since the build up to Survivor Series. I don’t know why anyone would want to see him as champ again either, his last 3-4 titles reigns were god awful.

They'll probably play his music and have Damien Sandow come out dressed like Bryan, lol. I'd be all for it, if he's medically cleared and there isn't any risk (any higher risk than anyone else who steps in the ring every night, that is...there's ALWAYS a risk). I've wanted Shinsuke Nakamura vs. AJ Styles to be the WWE Title match at WM34 for a while, almost as a gift to offset the impending crapfest of Lesnar/Reigns II....but I don't think WWE thinks Nakamura is a big enough draw to give a Rumble win, so Daniel Bryan would be the next best thing for me.....and you know damn well the match between Bryan and AJ would be potential match of the DECADE type stuff. We'll see what happens. If Damien comes out as DB, I will lose my crap!!! My god what heat!!! THE HEAT!

Until he's in the ring, I don't believe it.

Why do we even have a Spoiler Room board on this forum anymore...?

Those betting odds are curious because the odds of Bryan wrestling a match by this Wrestlemania, listed on the same Kambi betting site, have not changed. WWELeaks.org covers these betting odds closely. The publisher there is very skeptical of Bryan winning the Rumble.

Why do we even have a Spoiler Room board on this forum anymore...? Well, there's a difference between rumor and spoiler. For it to be a spoiler, it would have to be confirmed as happening, or already taped.

This causes a big problem though. Now no matter what happens, no matter how entertaining the Rumble actually is, some fans are going to crap all over it. Even though it's only a rumor, people will be expecting it the whole night. Then we'll have the same people logging on to mention how they knew WWE wouldn't clear Bryan. Then they'll make it about Roman. Same thing every year.

I can't believe I'm going to say this but I don't want Daniel Bryan to enter the Royal Rumble, much less win it. IMHO the rumble should be used to elevate an active full time wrestler to the WM main event level, not feed the active roster to a part-timer or returning superstar who really doesn't need the win to be over with the fans.

Him not appearing wouldn't nuke the Rumble, what would, would be them deciding to either have Roman win it again or something equally as bland. People seem to forget that even after Bryan was eliminated in 2015, the crowd still rallied behind several fan favorites later in the match - it was Big Show and Kane dumping every fan favorite gingerly over the top, then Roman winning in the most lackluster way possible that led to it being utterly crapped on. Bryan being in it or not being in it wouldn't be responsible for the crowd crapping on it; it would be WWE booking the Rumble like hot garbage again.

Knowing the WWE and Vince McMahon, he will have Mojo Rawley win the Royal Rumble to face AJ Styles at Mania for the Title.

Sorry but no. If Daniel Bryan is returning to the ring it should be due to he feud with Shane.
How about someone new winning the Rumble?

I'd love to see DB come back but having him win the Rumble is an utter waste. Clearly, even if DB is cleared, he isnt gonna work a full time schedule. The RR should be used to propel a big name to carry the "ball". DB isnt carrying the ball. Ideas of having DB or UT win are just a waste of a spot. Neither needs it.

This is one of those silly rumours again. Like a couple of years ago when people thought Stone Cold was going to come back for a match with Brock.
Not gonna happen. Face it.

I don't see it happening but it would be pretty cool. Especially since mania will be in New Orleans. Same city he closed the show in 4 years ago.
