You can tell people's ages around here. Yoko wore that outfit a lot more than the white & red combo. He wore this outfit during his numerous squash matches he had on WWF Superstars. Good luck finding out when because Youtube doesn't have every match he did nor episode of Superstars. This, so much. I remember the black with red so much more than the red/white combos. It looks odd seeing him in white and red to me.

Never seen a full match, but a very short clip of him wearing this surfaced in his HOF package video at 36 seconds. Pops up again at 40 and 41. This is a nice find; great contribution!

I've searched pictures for a match where he wore that combination (Black Tights, Red Mawashi) and have not been able to find one, the only picture i have ever seen of him in that attire is the picture on the WWF Hasbro card. It is possible that he wore that for promotional pictures but never in a match. Or he only wore that combination at house events where pictures were not taken. LOL at this botch haha but I guess he had this attire in the video game I think this is the SNES version Unbelievable amounts of nostalgia with these two right here. There doesn't need to be any more proof than that for me to want to get this figure. They had some options, white belt with red tights (debut), Red belt with white tights (First Ever RAW) or Black belt and black tights and save some moneyPlease don't give them ideas. This is something they might try with a Retro Yokozuna figure.

Slightly off topic, but how hard would it be to swap sarongs around on his figures?

I'm probably in the minority, but I love the figure! I had the black/red Yoko Hasbro as a kid, and I love that Bill has remade a significant chunk of the Hasbro roster in those attires. Getting the purple/black Rude, green suited DiBiase, and black/red Yoko all at once was like being a kid again. It was just such a different time in the business. Raw was only an hour so fewer guys appeared each week, WWE ran a ton of house shows (and I think they would still run some 2-show days on the weekends), and "special event" attires weren't really that common. There were a lot of guys like Bret, Warrior, Yoko and to a lesser extent Savage who had mix and match attires, which was probably a great way to avoid having to constantly wash your ring gear. Some looks made it onto tv or PPV's, but I'm sure some of these looks were work for promo shoots and house shows but never made tv. Today everything seems to be geared towards merch and tshirt sale cycles and wearing basically the same look each week. I agree, I love the look of the figure in hand and it carries more nostalgia personally being based on a Hasbro attire or house show/Superstars look vs. a one and done outfit. White and red might have been good but black and red works just as well for me personally.

No Thunder, Superstars, Heat, Velocity, or WCW Saturday Night. In WWE's version of history, I think a lot of newer fans are led to believe that if it didn't happen on Raw, Smackdown, or a PPV it didn't matter.

The storylines were progressed and started on Superstars of Wrestling, and then when it came along, Wrestling Challenge. I remember being a kid on Saturday and Sunday mornings and waiting for them to start.

With how good Yoko sells, hopefully they make all his notable variations (and then later re-release E15 with the HOF head for people who missed that one).

Slightly off topic, but how hard would it be to swap sarongs around on his figures? In my experience it can be a tad bit challenging. I did it once w/o heating it and it took some elbow grease and it was a little difficult to get over his cheeks . After that point, I slid down his legs and off by the feet. I have an extra HOF Yoko and if I can acquire an extra FB I'm going to put the put the red from the FB on the HOF w/the white pants. My plan for path of least resistance this time is to remove the legs (hopefully at the hips, if not at the thighs) make the swap and re-attach. Good luck.

November 21, 1992 (WWF Superstars #321) Yokozuna def. Todd Becker Link: No, no, no, it's from Raw episode #8 that aired March 8, 1993, and during it was a commercial for "WWF Mania" and they showed a clip that looks to be from the Todd Becker match and later reused for the Hall of Fame segment that was linked earlier in the thread. So I am going with Mattel is using the Hasbro figure as an inspiration and then used this commercial from this episode of Raw as its official attire date. Look it up, its WWE Network verified!

Have they made him the right size or is he nearly as tall as Undertaker still?

Making that Raw attire was the first thing i did when i picked him up Nice set, I like the way that Yokozuna looks with the red and white. If they do make another Yokozuna, I hope they make that attire (or the reverse, white sarong with red tights), it looks great. I also like the black elbow pad you added to the IRS figure, makes the figure look complete. If they do another IRS figure, as part of a Money Inc. set, I hope they do what you did and add the black elbow pad to his figure. In fact, I hope we get more New Generation era stars, we are sorely lacking in New Generation Tag Teams, Money Inc (would like the attire choice in the pic below, WM 9), The Steiner Brothers, The Smoking Gunns, The Headshrinkers, The New Headshrinkers, The Allied Powers, Men on a Mission (though, I would prefer King Mabel and Sir Mo), and Owen Hart to go with Yokozuna (well, Owen Hart in general).
