I was hoping that TMNGo would have released this right away so I could have watched it at work tonight. Guess I'll have to watch it in the morning after work

The early footage of Andre is pretty freaking awesome to see! Not sure where these guys got the footage from for the documentary but I am glad that they did.
Such a nice little story on Andre though. I wish the WWE would do their documentaries like the one HBO Sports did for Andre The Giant.

So...being that this was WWE Films as well. Can I bring up the elephant in the room? Hulk Hogan being all over it? You think he's no longer persona non grata to the 'E?

Cant have an Andre documentary without Hogan. I never thought he was in trouble with WWE. It was just WWE distancing themselves for PR purposes. I watched it, and loved it. It really did a great job telling the story of Andre. Some heartbreaking stuff. I'm guessing Frenchy passed away? I remember him and Andre were best friends from his old A&E doc.

Yeah, He died late 2016 I think.

Beautiful documentary, it's sad knowing Andre could of lived a bit longer if he just allowed doctors to take care of him. Also him dying alone in a hotel room like Eddie Guerrero did is very sad. One thing that did bother me a bit is how unhealthy Andre's daughter looks now.

Watched it yesterday morning and I absolutely loved it. As someone else said before I wish WWE would start taking this approach to all of their career documentaries.

One thing that did bother me a bit is how unhealthy Andre's daughter looks now. I agree it’s sad knowing that something could have been done to prolong his life. But at the same time, I wonder if I would have made the same decision if I were in his place. By that point, it seemed like he was already on the decline a bit, so if he had the surgery maybe he just saw it as also prolonging the amount of time he’d have to live in discomfort. The pictures from right before he died were really sad. He looked so unhealthy and unhappy.

The early footage was crazy to see. That was by far my favorite part was seeing him grow up early on. I think most of the wrestling related stuff in the back half was relatively known info but I like that they painted the sadness of being his size. They did that a little bit with the Big Show doc as well. I mean think about a guy his size trying to get around in the 70s and 80s. Just insane. Seems like he was never at peace with his size. You don't drink the way he did and not have sadness. That was a coping mechanism for him and that's pretty tragic. I just wonder if he didn't know how to be Andre the man outside of the circus, and so he thought there was nothing left for him after the wrestling was over. Like a soldier back from war.

I watched the documentary last night and it was great, the early footage of Andre was insane. You could tell how acromegaly distorted his face over time.

Overall I enjoyed it. None of the stories told were new to me but seeing footage from his teen years was a nice treat. Gotta admit seeing Vince,Timmy White tear up towards the end got to me. Just shows how much he meant to them.
There will never be an attraction like Andre again that's for sure. Truly one a kind.

I always knew they were close, but how much pain he was in, 25 years later, that he couldn't have been there with Andre at the end, is heartbreaking.

I enjoyed it. It wasn't much in there that I haven't already seen or heard, but it was well done.
