Well and to be fair, it's not like Orton changes up his look much. If you have one Elite Orton, you pretty much have them all.

The only exciting thing about Orton is the RKO!

E12 Orton sold like doo doo butter, baby. It was probably Mattel's biggest shelfwarmer until Tito claimed that accolade at a literal 2-and-a-half years and still going.

Orton may not get many elites, but he sure as hell gets plenty of basics.

Aside from 2016, there has been an Elite Orton every year since Mattel acquired the licence:
2010 - Elite 2 2011 - Elite 9, All-stars 2pk 2012 - Elite 12, 16 2013 - Elite 21 2014 - JR BAF 2015 - Elite 35 2017 - Elite 49 2018 - WM34
That's TEN Elite figures - which is pretty good, if you ask me... especially considering his look hardly changes.

So many more guys I would rather get. Even as a Flashback only Collector it was hard for to pick him up.

I dont know, there were still 3 E12 Ortons on my Kmart pegs when it closed down last year. No doubt they would still be there if the whole store didnt close down.

Kmart is like the exception to the rule, haha. I went to my last remaining Kmart last week, and they had probably a dozen of the El Matador 3-packs. I don't know how they'll ever sell those.

Mine had 12-15 Matador three-packs up until they announced their closure in early November last year. By the time I made it there around Thanksgiving, Los Matadores had finally moved on, and I was able to get an 80s Greats Savage, Piper, and Steamboat pack.

Like others have said...his earlier elites warmed hard. The pain of a collector was real back then when you ran to your stores and all that was left was an Orton or 2 with a plastic shirt. And every wave where he warmed there was a HOT figure. His elite 2 sold well since it was his first. Elite 9 you had Ryder every other case. Elite 12 you had FB Kane and Daniel Bryan. Elite 16 Kevin Nash, Diesel, and Punk. And elite 21 Ryback.

I didn’t even know it but I have an e12 Orton too and wasn’t even collecting then. I bought it because it had an SS 04 and extra e35 shirt in the lot. It’s still in my fodder bin lol. I only display e35, WMXX, SS04, WM31, and the e49 and BoPPV JR for my plain black attires...

I'd love if they upgraded his elite torso to the macho man torso and the grey trunks he wore a couple times.

The ones locally sold well here when Walmart got another E49 shipment, but that's neither here nor there, I like the figure regardless. me too. I like Legend Killer Orton more than “Viper” Orton Yeah. Viper Orton has got to be one of the most boring characters on the roster.

Yeah, blame e12...also the fact that his gear hasn't changed much over the years. I think the fact that the Wrestlemania Heritage elite is selling well is that if comes with a hoodie and they've spaced updated Orton elites far enough in-between.
