Asking in here rather than making a new thread - what’s the noise the crowd makes after a two count? It’s like a “weeeeeeeeeee” sound, but I can’t work out what it is.

Just think when Reigns finally takes the belt off Brock, these guys can all have title shots again.... Yaaaaaaaaaay.
Like I shan’t be surprised to see him lose it shortly after winning it.
Too bad folks will be too busy not giving a crap by then.

Stone Cold Steve Austin main-evented 3 Wrestlemania's total in his 6+ year run at or near the top. you figure 1996 was the start, 97 was when it really kicked in (wm13), leading in to 98...so you give Austin 97-02 as his true top years 14 ('98), 15 ('99), 17 ('01) were the 3 he closed out Roman is going on his 4th STRAIGHT WM closing spot. and he just hit 5 years with the company, 4 of which have been spent in this ridiculous singles push. during Austin's years when he literally was the biggest draw in the history of the business, there were still other guys who were worth enough of a mania main event spot. Bizarre, silly way to try to bend the truth about Austin's years on top. He was the top babyface for four WrestleManias - 14, 15, 16 and 17 (and he turned heel at that one). The only one of those he didn't main event was WrestleMania 2000... And that was because he was injured. He also got pinned about a handful of times during that whole run, and no more than twice clean (possibly even zero times). Roman Reigns, and even Cena the last few years, have been beaten way more times than top guys should, and the tears still flow. If certain fans liked to play the part of Salty McButthurt as much in the late nineties and early 2000s as they do now, Austin and his win-loss record would be getting fifty whinethreads a day on Wfigs. My biggest problem is where do they go with Braun if it isn't being added to the title match? Feud with Miz? Already done, and he has gotten his revenge on Miz literally 20 times already, including last night by eliminating him first. Teaming with Ronda? Lame, he is the hottest act in WWE today and being relegated to a mixed tag with the bosses daughter is a joke. Facing Kane or Big Show or some other "monster?"......YAWN Vince and his short shortsightedness is killing manys enjoyment, and in a lot of ways sacrificing the product all for yet another failed attempt on getting his pet project over. If fans weren't such marks, they need to boo and literally drown out Reigns and Vince anytime they are on the mic. Stop doing the bowing gesturing and singing "No Chance," because if you are this disenchanted, give him hell. Booing Roman isn't working. Silence would be stronger why don't the fans get that. Happy bangarang day! i think its just time to retire the chamber concept. they aren't going to do what they used to do with it, at this point its just a financial drain and really doesn't sell anything anymore. they said last night its the 22nd chamber match (or there have been 22)...hard to believe, but its really run its course i think But if they got rid of it, the "sky is falling" types would complain, like they do about every other change that happens, and every change that doesn't happen.

Can I just say that comparing Austin's run to Roman's run is ludicrous. It would be better to compare Austin to Daniel Bryan because at the least they both had the support fo most fans. Austin was the biggest star in WWE history, surpassing even the great Hulk Hogan. The fans demanded he be in the top spot. They demanded he main event WM. Very few are demanding to see Roman vs Brock Lesnar, Triple H, Undertaker, and Brock Lesnar again in four consecutive WM main events.

The only solace about last night is that there's hope in the coming weeks that Roman may fail a certain test based on the rumors in some of these threads below.
I can dream, right?

Just watched Elimination Chamber, and it was okay. Both Chamber matches were good, with some great spots in both. Nia VS Asuka was good. Matt VS Bray was good, especially Hardy's character work. The Bar VS Titus Worldwide was dull. Expected the Revival to attack both teams afterwards, missed opportunity there, and I say that as someone who is indifferent to the Revival.
Ronda's contract signing was great. I have to say, I know it's very early days, but I love how they're handling Ronda so far. Before her debut I openly dreaded the potential of her signing with WWE, but I'm glad that it's being handled well. I really hoped they'd have her as a face earning respect, rather than a heel destroying everyone and demanding respect. Her mic skills definitely need a lot of work, but considering she's only just stepped foot in the industry, understandable. Kurt was comedy gold playing off Triple H.
The Women's Elimination Chamber was a really good match. Despite being utterly predictable in the entry order once we had the first two, the women proved once again why they deserve to be given the same spotlight as the men. Mickie diving off the chamber was great, Sasha yet again betraying Bayley was great (especially so for the Lion King memes), and Alexa's promo was great.
With all the constant teasing of a feud between Sasha and Bayley, they've surely got to be setting up for a match between the two at WrestleMania: a match I cannot wait to see. Last night's betrayal #33 seemed to solidify it more than any betrayal in the previous weeks, with Bayley fully going after Sasha afterward, which hasn't really happened any other time. I can't wait to see what comes next.
The Men's Elimination Chamber was awesome though, for one reason: Braun Strowman. For everything that creative have totally screwed up in the past year, they've written Braun flawlessly. I can't remember anyone being as unstoppable as Braun looked in that chamber, taking a bazillion finishers and still getting up. Braun hurling Miz off the top of the pod onto everyone else was brilliant, surprisingly they allowed Balor to look pretty strong considering how he's been booked recently. Honestly, I don't mind Roman winning. Roman VS Brock at WrestleMania 31 was a pretty good match, so I'm up for a rematch. Honestly, I can't see WWE allowing anyone in that Chamber to beat Brock at 'Mania, except Roman Reigns. In my view, the most important outcome of WrestleMania 34 is that they get the title off Brock. Allowing a part-timer to hoard a World title for a year and only show up a handful of times is a complete joke, and should never have been done. Better to have Roman win the Chamber and again at WrestleMania, then to have had someone else win the Chamber and lose to Brock at WrestleMania.
But with Braun's post-match attack on Roman, I can easily see them making it a Triple Threat match to stop the fans crapping all over Roman VS Brock 2. Perhaps they could even have Braun win that match?
But honestly, nobody looked weak in either Chamber match. That's great, and is exactly how it should be. Despite how dominant Braun was in the men's chamber, everyone else (although Miz might be a possible exception) still looked somewhat strong.

They’re the worst crowds 😒 I just think its incredibly stupid to use Bullet Club chants at an event run by a company that the Bullet Club isn't part of. It's not like yelling "Woooo" after a chest chop. That is something that has transcended any one company. The Bullet Club are hot but they aren't transcendental.

Etched the the men's and women's elimination chamber matches. I'm surprised, but I liked the women's match more. Bliss, Bayley and Banks were incredible.
Does anyone that think that Roman Reigns looks like he is dancing out there? I've watched wrestling since WrestleMania 4 and never really thought it looked choreographed but Roman's lame punches and spears look so cheesy. When he telegraphs/intercepts moves it looks bad as well. I wish they would relegate him to Haku status. He's that level of performer. Time for Strowman, AJ, and Rollins to be the top dogs.

Really enjoyed the PPV. The women's Chamber match was thrilling and Alexa was by far the star of the match. Her expressions throughout were great and that Twisted Bliss from the top of the chamber was incredible!
The matches in between were decent but I honestly didn't care for any of them.
The main event was very good but the outcome was never in doubt. I like that they protected Strowman and had him standing tall to close the show. They obviously have big plans for him down the road. I'm expect he'll be the one to dethrone Reigns for the Universal Championship at Summerslam.
