Yes, I know there is a post in the WWE board, however, it's just a bunch of opinions about Borash's commentary with some sporadic Impact jokes mixed in.
Yesterday was a big day with Impact losing Borash. The company only really has Abyss, Bob Ryder and Dale Oliver (that I'm aware of) left who've been there since the early days, (which is not necessarily a bad thing) sixteen years is a long time to work for a company.
I feel like the big problem with him leaving is that Impact put all their eggs in one basket with Borash. He did so much for the company, it's going to be a battle for them to distribute his roles to new staff in my opinion. Could this be a problem for them?
Again, a lot of people are putting his leaving down as evidence that Impact is crap, but in my opinion, this might be partly true, but he just wanted to move on after sixteen years.

It leaves a very large hole that Anthem is going to have a difficult time filling. Hopefully someone -- or more realistically a few people -- will step up soon.
I went from being one of TNA's biggest apologists to one of their more vocal critics here but I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt on this one. Let's hope this creates opportunity within the company.

At the very least the show will need a new broadcast commentator. Don Callis has performed well for New Japan. Perhaps he’ll take up Impact’s commentary, too.
It’s an entirely different Impact now. Hopefully the fresh start will be ultimately beneficial.

TNA have lost so many employees recently.
Lashley, EC3, Spud, Storm, Borash, Roode, Young, Joe, Galloway, Low Ki, Bram, Magnus, Awesome Kong, Davey Richards, Hardy Boyz, Kurt Angle... The list goes on.
I don't regularly watch Impact but can someone tell me why over the past year or so, TNA have lost lots and lots of its big stars? Are they heavily in debt or something?

Some of it was cost-cutting, some is simply guys choosing to leave for other opportunities, some were just short-term appearances, and some were retirements. For instance, Davey Richards retired and Awesome Kong has been close to done for years. They've also recently moved to Canada, so it's likely some guys just don't want to constantly fly there for the tapings. Financially, TNA are probably in the most stable position they have been in years, thanks to Anthem taking over.

there is a large foundation of indie Canadian talent and promotions. almost a mini territories situation. I think tna plans to capitalize on these promotions by partnering with them and broadcasting their content. border city wrestling is an example, but even the local SMASH wrestling show here in London was recorded for the fight network apparently...
tna has downgraded overall, but maybe they can create an interesting product with the fresh minds available.

Because the company is a sinking ship. After years of Dixie Carter making terrible decisions she had to screw everyone over on her way out. She could have sold the company to Billy Corgan, who could have potentially turned things around. He did good things during his short time there so if anyone could do it, it would be him. Instead she lied to him repeatedly and then took his money and ran. Then found the only people on the planet who are more incompetent than she is -- Anthem.

I wonder what spurred JBs decision to leave tbh. They have more than a few people who can replace his roles but still a huge shocker.
