Bully for NY. After 30 odd years, the fact that London still isn't even in the discussion, just seems like a cruel joke at this point. I don't think it's ever going to be in the discussion, unless the company's popularity takes a massive nosedive stateside and they can't fill a stadium anymore. It makes no sense for them to leave the country.

I'll definitely be going. I'll may even drive down from Toronto. I was there for 29 and it was kind of cold. I think that it's a week later this year than it was for 29. I kind of wish that they held mania at the end of April. Especially if it's in NJ and it being an open stadium. Since I'm sitting out this year I'm going to save up and go all out for 35.

I went to 29 and actually enjoyed it. I may try to get tickets to this.
My only issue is the length. That’s a long freakin show to sit through.

God dammit go somewhere in the Midwest Couldn’t agree more, if New York can get an outdoor wrestlemania than so can Chicago. I like that Detroit was at least in the final 3 though

Yawn, SummerSlam for a decade evidently isn't enough.
Hope it snows.

Another good thing about when I went to WM29 was the drive wasn’t bad at all. Took maybe a half hour to get there from my house. And we parked over at the Izod Center/Whatever it’s called these days so we got out of the garage and back on the road within like 10 minutes.
If I do go this time around though I may skip the Hall of Fame. Getting from Axxess in NJ to MSG at that time of day took FOREVER.
Also, how does Axxess work these days? Last time I went they had maybe 6 VIPs throughout the weekend. I looked at this year’s lineup and it looks like almost the entire roster is VIP and a VIP ticket only includes one VIP superstar. So if you wanna meet more do you need to get multiple VIP tickets?

Would've preferred Philly, but I'll take NJ.
I was at 29 and it was SO cold. This time I'll come a bit more prepared.
LAYERS.
I'm excited. Haven't been to a Wrestlemania, or a PPV, since 29!

For those who complain about every time the WWE comes to New York/New Jersey for big events should just shut up. The WWE will always hold their number one market in high regard. I may consider attending WrestleMania XXXV. Seeing as I have never attended a PPV, let alone a WrestleMania.
I would be interesting where SummerSlam 2019 ends up taking place.

I sat the entire night in a t-shirt, and wasn't back at my hotel until 4am. Yeah, I'll agree that it was abit on the cold side.

The Summerslam situation has me wondering if they'll end up using the Prudential Center for the Wrestlemania events instead. It seems practical, but then they'd be giving up the pageantry of New York. As someone planning to attend, I know I'd much prefer they use the Prudential Center simply because of the cost difference between staying somewhere near/in Newark versus staying in East Rutherford or NYC itself.

Is the Prudential Center the building across the walkway from Met Life? I’ve lost track of what that building is called now. For 29 that building is where they had Axxess. Hall of Fame was at MSG. NXT Takeover wasn’t a thing at that time.

It's about the same distance from MetLife as the Barclays, but in the opposite direction. Backlash will be there this year in May.

I think outdoor events in the North East during this time of year is a mistake. We've had March/April blizzards in New York, and even if it doesn't snow, it can still be really really really cold.

Prudential might be better to go to for events. To get from MetLife to Barclays would probably be a pain. I started to take the train for Summerslam because the first year it took like 2 hours just to drive a couple blocks near the arena. NJ tends to be better than NY with arenas and event areas. They have the space considering not much else is going on in NJ. Lol The NJ expo center isn’t bad either but it’s probably too small for Axxess.
