I'm surprised we didn't get at least a basic by now along with a battle pack of the Singh Brothers. Maybe it's taking longer than expected to sculpt a new torso complete with backne.

I know his push came out of nowhere, but he did become champion about 9 months ago, you'd think we'd have seen him in a rumoured line-up at least?

Yeah, they have had plenty of time, he won the title what 7 or 8 months ago? But we have seen 2 freaking mickie James elites lol. We've seen one Well I certainly saw images of one with the nxt women's title. Even if it's a change, to get her over the guy who was wwe champion half of last year is behind dumb

Where are the lineups listed for 59 & 60? 59: Kurt Angle Chad Gable Jason Jordan Zack Ryder The Miz Finn Balor 60: John Cena Kofi Kingston Kevin Owens Andre the Giant Aleister Black Elias I'm thinking his first elite might be an exclusive or an entrance greats.

Other than wanting a complete set of current wrestlers and/or world champs, who really wants this figure? I know not one person who enjoyed his run as world champ. He went from worst to first overnight and no one bought in. His push is now over. He goes from beating Orton and Nakamura and now he can’t even win the US title. He even loses in his home country in a non televised house show. I don’t see any reason why this figure needed to be rushed. MDT probably felt the same way. When asked about the Singh’s he laughed it off and said to wait and see how well Jinder does.

Jinder became a thing in April/May of 2017. Pretty simple to figure out why Mickie is happening before Jinder.

Nope, haven't you read anything in this thread by guys who have zero idea how making figures works? It should take two months to make a brand new figure at most. Everyone in the toy industry will tell you it takes about a year to make a new figure. Every now and then they might be able to rush and get something sooner, but they can't do that for everyone and if they did, quality would take a huge hit and you all would complain about that too.

I'm so ready for this. I absolutely loved Jinder as champ and an Elite in the Backlash gear with a turban and the WWE Championship sounds fantastic.

Oh god remember that Follow the Buzzards guy who wanted new attires done overnight and there was a big conspiracy that guys would change their gear as soon as they had a figure made to keep you spending money? What a loon

Mattel is in it to make money. That’s why you need to buy a ring to get him. I would guess 90% of the people who want Goldberg are over 25 years old. I’m sure Goldbergs merch deal bought him a few more muscle cars. So no, if he even knows, I’m sure it doesn’t bother him. It’s pretty smart to delay figures. Builds anticipation for them. Why spend the money on manufacturing a wrestlers figure when he might be irrelevant in 6 months. Other than us collectors, I don’t think there’s a bunch of 10 year olds holding there breath for Tye Dillinger. And now a mid-card Jinder. Do I want him yes. But I get it from a business perspective. The time it takes Mattel to manufacture and get a figure to shelves really is ridiculous. It’s been a problem with them throughout their time with WWE. The only figure I can remember taking a reasonable amount of time was Brock’s first basic, he debuted around Wrestlemania and I recall having him in hand by about late October, early November. There’s no reason Mattel can’t be shooting for this sort of timeframe with every major character. WWE really should be demanding that Mattel do all they can to reduce the time it takes to get figures out. Kurt Angle re-signed in January last year, The Hardyz in early April, we should have seen numerous battle packs, elites and basics of these guys in stores at Christmas time. The fact that we’ve had just one marginalised, Goldberg figure in the almost 2 years since he signed with WWE shows the utter greed and contempt that Mattel treat their customers with. I guarantee you, given the sort of character Bill Goldberg is, that he wouldn’t be at all happy if he knew that the only way kids could get their hands on his figure is by their parents shelling out a small fortune. I fully expect to not see a Ronda figure until around Summerslam ‘19. Talk about striking while the iron’s hot.
