Because it's just a repaint of the gold briefcase Ok but if it's that easy, why no mitb Carmella? If there was an elite Carmella already slotted in, they could have added the repaint briefcase as an accessory like they have with Corbin. So you just think you should pick and choose who they make instead of them doing it.

The time it takes Mattel to manufacture and get a figure to shelves really is ridiculous. It’s been a problem with them throughout their time with WWE. The only figure I can remember taking a reasonable amount of time was Brock’s first basic, he debuted around Wrestlemania and I recall having him in hand by about late October, early November. There’s no reason Mattel can’t be shooting for this sort of timeframe with every major character. WWE really should be demanding that Mattel do all they can to reduce the time it takes to get figures out. Kurt Angle re-signed in January last year, The Hardyz in early April, we should have seen numerous battle packs, elites and basics of these guys in stores at Christmas time. The fact that we’ve had just one marginalised, Goldberg figure in the almost 2 years since he signed with WWE shows the utter greed and contempt that Mattel treat their customers with. I guarantee you, given the sort of character Bill Goldberg is, that he wouldn’t be at all happy if he knew that the only way kids could get their hands on his figure is by their parents shelling out a small fortune. I fully expect to not see a Ronda figure until around Summerslam ‘19. Talk about striking while the iron’s hot. You’re being too lenient. The Epic Moments Hardys should have been on shelves by the time WrestleMania was over. Walmart employees should have been putting them out at the same time Undertaker was placing his hat, coat and gloves in the ring. Some would say that you and I are completely unrealistic and deluded about the time it takes to get these toys to market, but we know better!

Because that would make it an elite. And nobidy wants Mattel to burn an elite spot on Carmella to get her with a MITB. Ok but if it's that easy, why no mitb Carmella? Bottom line is it's just picking who they want to make. I'd take jinder and Carmella over another corbin I promise more people want an elite Carmella than you seem to think.

And therein lies the problem - Mattel knows the market, and the process, better than angry, entitled teens who have no perspective other than “the line should be aimed exclusively at me.” That sense of entitlement will always be a barrier to your enjoyment.

Lol. Like the angry "we don't get enough flashbacks tards"? Times Mattel didn't know the market are plentiful. We aren't talking about a company that is just knocking it out of the ballpark all the time. Browse through this very forum, see all the complaining for yourself. And I have no sense of entitlement or barrier to my enjoyment. Im.not the one crying because dolphs arms are too big, Cesaro is too skinny, nikki Bella doesn't have a big enough rack, etc. But I'm not going to continue a back and forth with you any longer. We can agree to disagree or you can talk to yourself, whatever the Lord of the board pleases.

They have these lines planned out almost a year in advance. They can’t just shoe horn every new character or champ into a series and derail plans. They have found ways to expedite turn around, by placing figures in special lines. Angle in entrance greats, Hardy’s in epic moments, Nakamura as a DM, ect. Things take time

I asked Bill on Twitter about him and he said wait until the Vegas Toy show. So whatever they show at vegas show will not be available to order online for at least 6 months or so right ? Retail will probably be 9- 12 months give or take. I am not a jinder fan, but this taking 12 months or longer to get new talents figures made it just unacceptable. This isn't 1999 anymore where we where just happy to get any new figures at all. Here is a perfect comparison: Aj Styles took at least 1 year+ to get his new figure in stores. If i am a parent and my kid likes wrestling and wants an aj styles figure. I either wait that long and my kid has probably lost interest in wrestling and is on to another fad. Or i buy him a jakks/toybiz tna aj styles figure right now on ebay. Mattel doesn't make any money from me on either scenarios. This is why mattel has been losing money the last few years.

Nope, haven't you read anything in this thread by guys who have zero idea how making figures works? It should take two months to make a brand new figure at most. Everyone in the toy industry will tell you it takes about a year to make a new figure. Every now and then they might be able to rush and get something sooner, but they can't do that for everyone and if they did, quality would take a huge hit and you all would complain about that too. 2 months? Try 10...but whatever Sarcasm

I agree that the turnaround time is usually ridiculous, but in AJ’s case his Elite 47 came out within 9/10 months of his debut. That’s not bad. I remember finding one Wal Mart in November so RSC probably had them a month before that? But yes, overall, way too much time in a lot of cases to strike while they are hot and fresh

Freaking K-mart got in a case of elite 47 and i bought both aj styles from there. A few months later my local one finally closed. This was also well after the Christmas season was over, i posted it in wisconsin figure findings. Apr 14, 2017 was when i found elite aj styles in store.

I'm starting to think they may put him with the Smackdown ring. They're bein awfully tight lipped and it's been what? 9 months since he won the title? Didn't he win it pretty soon after Orton did?

I'm gonna guess the Jinder and SD ring, and new gimmick figures will be at Toyfair and Bill's gonna have the hardcore stuff, like NXT, retros, and flashbacks in sin city.
It'd be cool if Jinder came with the Bollywood guys and a carpet instead of a commentary set.

When a guy debuts it’s not just hey! He’s on tv line the figure comes out. They have to be on TV a for a certain time or get a decent push to warrant getting a figure. They aren’t going to just make a figure of someone who debuts and doesn’t last. After they decide said guy is worthy of a figure he has to get scanned and placed into a lineup. One that happens, They send renderings to the factory in a China wait for the prototype to be made, get it back from China adjust anything on the figure they don’t like then OK it to go into production. It isn’t just ok scan this guy and make thousands of them.
