Graves comes across as a little bitch. Like he’ll talk crap and everything but you get him one on one he’ll be as nice as can be Look at it this way, he can never wrestle again in WWE, and Trips gave him a chance on commentary down in NXT. He proved he could talk. When he moved up to Raw, where Trips has no say so, He went after an easy target and put himself over at Booker’s expenses. He made damn sure to point out every mistake Book made. To us, it was heel tactics, but after reading this, Graves has put a target on himself. He is a stooge and wil scratch and claw to keep his spot.

Which sucks when he's so unintentionally hilarious. To be fair he probably wasn't thinking when he said that lol

Graves just took advantage of Booker's flaws as a commentator.

I met Corey a little over a year ago and he couldn’t have been a nicer guy. He’s got a northeast sarcastic sense of humor I’m familiar with being from NY. I know Booker is really into all the unwritten backstage rules and how veterans should be treated. Corey is also Cole’s protege and Cole takes digs at everyone on commentary. It’s possible Corey was doing what Cole would do and Booker took offense. Add to that his sarcastic tone and it could be something.
On a funny note the camera cut to the announcers at one point during the Rumble and my brother said “Why does Corey Graves always look like he just smelled a fart?”

To be fair he probably wasn't thinking when he said that lol Yeah, I'm sure he didn't mean it like it came out. Which is why I love Book. You have no idea what'll come out.

I can't make out what he said. "Owen couldn't defy gravity." Is it at all possible that Booker thought of Kevin Owens? I know JBL said King Owen, but that could easily be taken as Kevin Owens, thus being a fat joke.

Booker was always 10 steps behind Corey on commentary. Dude sucked ass. He is good at those pre show booth jobs but when it comes to commentating matches, He blew.

JBL is talking about never having a high flying king, saying Owen was a high flyer, but never like Neville. And Kevin Owens wouldn't debut on the main roster, until after the tournament that year.

Booker T was AWFUL on commentary. I mean downright embarrassing. As far as people saying this is a "work". Here's why your theory is wrong. A "work" is designed to build a match. Corey Graves CANNOT wrestle for WWE. He is not, nor will he be, medically cleared by WWE. So you can never get a payoff. Im sure Booker is just spouting off at the mouth bc he is angry. If he was to really attack Graves "on the street", not only would he be fired but he would be arrested. Booker should be thanking Graves though...Graves saved him from embarrassing himself every Monday night.

kinda hilarious since Booker T replaced David Otunga, sure Otunga wasn't great either, but he didn't constantly make a fool out of himself

I would take David Otunga, JBL, or even Mike Adamle over Booker T on commentary.

OK, here's the thing - if he's going to "jump" Graves the first chance he gets, then maybe a better way for him to "cool off" would be for WWE to suspend him. Yes, I'm being serious. People at my work have been suspended for threatening behaviour - it should be the same everywhere. How would WWE look if Booker carried out his threat?
For the record, I loved Booker as an in-ring performer, but his commentary is utter garbage. He's the only one to blame for losing his spot.

I kinda liked their banter, but sometimes it felt like Corey was mocking a senile old man. Booker has a tendancy to flip-flop, miss the point, never make a point and ramble, so im not too sad to see him go.
