I just have to kinda vent, and apologize in advance. Stopped by my local Walmart today, and saw they had a full set of the Howard Finkel set. This was the first time I was there, with all four being on the peg, so I was thinking of picking them up. I remember hearing on here, how some had a Slaughter that was missing on of the Fink's arms, so I grabbed him to see if I could see the arms. At first I thought it was one of the ones with a missing one, but then I realized there were no arms. Then I realized, it looked like someone took a razor and slit between the plastic of the bubble, and the cardboard backing, just enough to steal the arms. Looked at the other three, same thing with all of them. One even had scotch tape holding it together. By my guess, someone bought the whole set got them open just enough to take out all the pieces of Fink, and then returned them.

Typical scummy adults who cannot afford figures, so steals them. Would love them to get caught.

Ultra disappointing. Probably someone from the Forum I wouldn't be surprised.

Typical scummy adults who cannot afford figures, so steals them. Would love them to get caught. That's why I think they had to have bought them, and then returned them. I've seen some stolen stuff before, where package was either ripped open, or to get a belt, they just gut the plastic in front of it, and yanked it out. This, had to have taken too much time to steal it the way they did, in store, and not get caught.

If I did this, everytime I looked at the fig on the shelf I’d just feel like a huge dingus

I don’t love dirtbags and I hope they get caught. This unfortunately is the reality that this is gonna happen and some of these figures will sit on shelves forever from being returned with no finkel parts. Luckily I picked up the remaining figures with parts I needed to complete finkel today

That sucks. I'm expecting to see a lot of the upcoming Elite Hardys in stores missing the shirt/belt. You know people will buy two each and return the other with the accessory missing so they have them both for each figure.

Been there. One Walmart near me had to put the Paul Bearer figures on the clearance shelf almost immediately after stocking them because some asshammer stole all the BAF parts. Those sat for ages too.
I love how people think this is ok. Like in what world is this not a BS move? Who the hell do you think you are?

I have a criminal record from my youth and I'm not going down over theft, especially of something I can afford. But it honestly doesn't bother me. At least they are stealing from a billion dollar company and not a hard working single mother, or old couple, etc. I k ow the whole "it drives prices up" line, but I've never seen that happen. I have seen greed drive prices up, and that drive theft up.

They're not an old couple or a single mother after all. If you think any form of stealing is "fine", let me be the first to explain...that it's not. But I guess that answers the question I posed in my earlier post. People actually think it's fine to steal because of where the thing is being stolen from. Cool. Moral compass = hugging broken

I would almost rather pay the 9-10$ each and mail away and pay 6$ shipping. Between this and the fact I hate trying to put these together because I think they’ll snap the peg, id rather just send away for it

People were doing this when TRU had the BAF's. I remember seeing ones that had the parts stolen on special clearance at TRU

Moral compass = hugging broken The problem with all this is, it doesn't matter what I think, you think, Donald Trump thinks, baby Jesus thinks or anyone else. People are gonna do what they are gonna do. There are a lot of things I disagree with that are perfectly legal and some I don't care either way that are very illegal. I'm not here to be anyone's moral compass. Again, I don't do it, and if I thought it was ok, I probably would do it. But I'll never lose sleep over it.
