Great example, this demonstrates the problem very clearly. You should NOT have to go to 15 Targets just to find a couple figures, that is insane! I don't believe that scalpers or collectors snatched up all the figs at all these locations, Target and their poor re-stocking take the lions share of the blame IMO for the empty shelves. I don't understand why they pay the extra money for the exclusivity then don't bother to keep their damn shelves stocked?! After reading your post I am even more discouraged about ever finding HOF5- if you who live in the USA can't find it and resorted to visiting so many stores then what chance do I have of finding anything when I have to cross a border and have no way of knowing what will be on the shelves?! I want the Jake & Piper figures but do not what to pay eBay scalper prices for them. I wish the HOF line had died after series 4 and series 5 had been moved to the new Walmart flashback line as I think I have a much better shot at finding figures from this line. FYI Target headquarters are in Minneapolis so i went there nerve center. I was able to buy a few regular line wwe figures on clearance, and a cyclops marvel legends still in store.

Oh wow that definitely explains why they've gone up in price and awful part choices.

Finding Cyclops in the wild at this point is an amazing feat. That thing was impossible even way back when it came out and all through the run of that wave.

The amount of fighting on this thread and overall on the WF boards proves that yes, even men have periods. Even if it doesn't show physically.

The only thing mythical on this entire board is the "scalpers" beating us to the punch or the figures selling so well that that is why we aren't seeing them on shelves.
This will possibly sound lamer than it really is, but I checked Target, Toysrus, and Walmart pretty much every single day in the months up to Christmas. Actually, I live close to work and I pass all 3 of those places. Also, if I leave work and take two alternate and slightly longer routes home I pass another Walmart the one way, and another Walmart and Target the other. So I was hitting 2-3 stores early in the morning before work and 1-2 each night before going home almost every day.
Target received zero Elites the entire season. Toysrus had Elite 52-53 once which was hungrily consumed. Walmart had zero Elites for most of the season. When they did finally deign to buy some it was a hybrid mix of Elite 50 and 49. Toysrus restocked after having 52/53 by getting about five more cases of 50 before and after Christmas.
This isn't a isolated issue. Stories like this flood the boards and yet some apologists will say that we're just being beaten to the punch by scalpers or the sets are just so hot that they are selling out. What I'm saying is either the dozens of stories like this that get told every week on here are all lies being propagated by us awful people, or truly the chain of supply is broken.
I'm sure that the slow death of action figures at Mass retail is more than justified at the top of these companies by how little money it brings them, the point of this post wasn't to say "How dare they not carry toys", but to say that they literally aren't. You can't deny that the system isn't working like it could and it makes me a little skeptical when I hear that WWE is the #1 selling brand when the product isn't even on the shelves. Like how the hell much worse are all the other guys doing then?

I’m sure the budget has nothing to do with him. We are getting more accesories and more lines than ever before. Though he may cater to us with certain figures, he also has to keep the general consumer in mind. So many posters on here think the dude is intentionally trying to us around all the time, when in reality he’s not and he’s doing his job..very well. It’s not a travesty that Hercules doesn’t have a figure yet First off i am taking a shot at mattel not bill. Secondly, we are getting less articulation is basics, accessories removed from battlepacks for a while now. But we get display stands with elites that we never asked for, which I still really don't understand. 2 negatives and 1 positive is not more. We are getting more store exclusives which depends on the retailer as to how easy it is to find them. I don't think more exclusives are a overall a good thing. Its hit or miss and if you keep missing your wasting time and money. Lastly the family of Hercules Hernandez said they would love to get a figure made of him to honor him. But that all apparently went on deaf ears, and i don't like that. Exactly, you have great points.
