Warrior’s big splash. Anyone ever kick out of that? I know Hogan kicked out at 3.01 seconds at WM6. Anyone actually kick out of it?

wow you guys make me feeel super old!!!! its like you never heard of the 80's or 90's.... IMO Tombstone Piledriver Crippler Crossface Jackhammer Jake's DDT was one of the most devastating finishers of that era. Looked awesomely brutal and few if any ever kicked out of it. Then again, Rude made a simple neck breaker into a devastating finisher too. Finishers were much more protected in the 80s. I remember when I was a kid and wrestling with another kid in school and I was pissed when he no-sold a DDT I gave him, LOL.

Big Show's KO Punch, I hardly ever see anyone kick out of it. RKO hands down is the most protected finisher right now. F-5 is protected. Curb Stomp is protected too.

The Punt is statistically the most protected finish in WWE history, no one has ever kicked out after taking it, and it was used to write several people off telly. Nowadays, I'd suggest either Strowman's power slam or Brock's F5. Cena kicked out of the punt

Warrior’s big splash. Anyone ever kick out of that? I know Hogan kicked out at 3.01 seconds at WM6. Anyone actually kick out of it? Wrestlemania VII Warrior kicked out of the 5 elbow drops Savage hit him with, and then proceeded to have his Warrior come back and hit Savage with the press slam and splash. He went for the pin and Savage kicked out at 2 and a half. Warrior then looked up to the heavens and questioned whether he belonged. He got his answer and turned around, shoulder blocked Savage 3 times and beat him with one foot on his chest.

I always remember the ridiculous 5 elbow drops and completely forgot about the splash kick out.

The 3D is probably the most protected finish, in my recent memory. I believe it's only been kicked out of 1 time.

Anyone who says the pedigree wasn’t protected is delusional.

I don't know about how protected it was, but it sure was a stupid move for the guy delivering it - Lex Luger's Torcher Rack
Imagine going 10-20 mins in a match, then to hoist 250+ Lbs on your shoulders and proceed to crunch your opponent - that had to kill your back muscles.
No lie though as a kid I looked forward to seeing that move.

Great Khali’s finisher. Most of his matches were squashes so who’s kicking out of that?

I feel that last year, the Styles Clash (when it became identified as a finisher) was protected. I also think the Phenomenal Forearm is protected. The Kallas was protected heavily this year until AJ kicked out of it. Bailey's Belly to Belly is also protected rather well. I don't think I've seen someone kick out of it (did Asuka do it?) I'd say something from Asuka's aresenal or Nia Jax as well, but I think every week they use a new submission or finisher respectively. By and large, I would say RKO. I’m guessing there’s been a few occasions, but pretty sure Sasha kicked out of it at Takeover Brooklyn.

RKO is the most protected finisher in WWE today. Also, currently the F5, but we know it won't be too long when Roman kicks out of 2 of them at Mania.

This isn't really protected, but I think it's awesome that Neville got the Superplex over as a finisher in late 2016.
Cesaro in 2013 got the German Suplex over as a finisher.
But to answer the question at hand, I would say right now its the RKO and F5.

Or was that the story where they were questioning if DDP could hit the Diamond Cutter on The Giant?
