I have no horse in the race. I haven't liked the product overall for over a decade and then some. The more I read about WWE history, the more I realize the creative genius was Pat Patterson, with guys like George Scott among others fleshing it out. McMahon is an amazing promoter, he's had some great creative decisions in his own right, but that's not who he is.
My point is, the more that McMahon has changed his company, the less I care about what happens to it. Roman Reigns is just the last straw, he's a charisma black hole. That's what happens when you have television writers surrounding you.

According to new reports, Brock Lesnar didn't show up because he's already over the amount of dates on his current contract. He's actually worked MORE for WWE than contractually obligated. So really, it's WWE's fault. They knew how many dates they had him, and maybe they should learn to count a little more carefully before they waste so many appearances on him just coming out and standing there at other points in the year and make sure you save enough for WrestleMania season. People crap on Brock, but he's just following the contract. It's not Brock's fault that he's got such a sweet contract. Nobody held a gun to WWE's head and forced them to give him all these perks. WWE gave him this deal, WWE went over the agreed upon dates, Brock Lesnar is in no way shape or form obligated to show up anymore if he does not want to. I hope Brock demands a fortune to get him to show up to lose the Title to Reigns at WrestleMania. And I hope IF Brock appears on RAW at any point between now and WrestleMania that he also demands a fortune for those appearances as well. Well this must be 100% true because it was reported on the internet, right?

Thought the exact same thing. And he wants to talk about this business being in his blood, but it's funny how it didn't seem to call to him, until he failed out of both the NFL and CFL. That’s not really fair, honestly. Look at Taker who is one of the greatest of all time and how he got into wrestling. He was going to go play basketball overseas and was talked into getting into wrestling. I’m not a huge fan of wrestlers getting bashed because they didn’t dream of doing it since they were kids or something. Same thing with AJ Styles. He had no desire to get into the business and he never really watched it growing up. 20 years later and he's the greatest in-ring performer going right now.

Dudes working a house show in Chicago Saturday night.
Kind of a dumb move on the WWE’s part if they really wanted people to get behind what Roman said. Sure it’s only one house show but still it’s a contradiction.

I really don't think I deserve a passive aggressive response and an eyeroll gif for trying to add to a thread where everyone is speculating about the status of Brock Lesnar. I came across some info and passed it on. He never even should have responded.

But the point is - there was ZERO need for your personal comments. I know you delight in being one of the more negative members of this forum, but try and lighten up once in a while.

100% a work. Vince's plan is to play off of the Lesnar not caring about the Company and just the money. It's why virtually nobody has been allowed to mention it in any promo thus far, and they just so happen to have saved it for Reigns. Even the Dana white photo of him & Lesnar was just too coincidental in timing.

Brock just beat Kane in less than a minute at the live event here in chicago. Crowd was pissed and booed him.

Brock beats Cena and his 5 moves of doom even, at least he had 5. Brock only has 2, suplex and f-5. That's literally a Brock lesnar match. Suplex repeat, repeat, repeat, lots of down time for Brock, f5, go home for 5 months.

I’ve always been a Brock fan. Probably my 5th favorite all-time, but I think it’s time for him to not come back this time. I’d have been pretty surprised in 2012 if I knew he’d be around for 6 years. Unless they would really change something with his character, it has just become unexciting to a degree. Outside of the match with AJ I can’t remember the last time he was a part of a truly good singles match. He’s also run thru just about everyone he can at this point. I know matches with Finn and Shinsuke would likely garner some excitement, but who knows if they’d ever book them. All in all I just think they’ve got everything they can out of Brock for 6 years that the timing is right for him to not come back.

And we’ve still got weeks to go until Mania for him to really let Heyman and Brock dig into the audience. Won’t cheer Roman. Manipulate them over Brock.
