Would be great news a a fan.Rumors are if FOX got the rights to WWE that RAW would be on FOX Monday nights for two hours every week, which finally kills the awful three hour block thats been going on for years, which most fans hate and would more then likely also end the brand split.
Don't know if wrestling has ever been on prime time on one of the five major networks besides the special Saturday Night Main Events back in the day.Being on prime time I think the WWE would actually put some effort every week into making RAW interesting and fresh.

I agree, as a fan this is really good news. Also, SD live would be on FS1

It would be interesting for sure and there are a lot of possible benefits to making the move to Fox.
A couple minor negatives - How many times a year would RAW be preempted(moved to FS1) because of Baseball or some other sporting event? Or even worse, how many times a year will your local Fox affiliate interrupt for "Breaking News" or special "STORM WATCH!!" coverage?

Fox Sports employs idiots like Cowherd and Whitlock so I wouldn't want any show I want to be on their network.

It would be so different

I'm okay with RAW going to Fox and going back to two hours. But as cablev said, we'd have to get used to them bumping RAW for College Football bowl games and the World Series.
But I don't want them to end the draft split. Just way too much talent for one roster. And with RAW cutting back an hour, more talent can be moved to SD to even out the rosters. FS1 seems like a nice fit for SD.
If nothing else, keep the shows separate but unify the WWE & Universal championships. Make the champion bounce between shows much like Cena does now. It'll add more prestige to the title as well.
I used to like Colin Cowherd. But I've realized he's a douche for the sake of being a douche. But least he gets paid for it. We got douches who are here for free.
While it would be weird for it not to be on USA, I think this could be great news for WWE. A brighter spotlight and two hour RAW each week sounds very enticing. But you know what they say about the grass on the other side...

It will be interesting to see how NBCuniversal respinds to this because they really need wwe on usa

I would venture to guess that WWE would have it in their contracts to not be preempted by other programs. I know that was a big push they had when they came back to USA was to not get booted for that stupid dog show.

I am torn on this being a good thing or not.
Being on Fox, WWE would have to cut back down to 2 hours. Which it seems everyone is in agreement that would be a good thing all around. IT would help to re-legitimize the PG push that WWE has been on for some years. The possibility of immensely increased ratings and audience, being on a channel most people no matter their tv delivery system can get, would ensure that. It would make it WAY easier for anyone and everyone to watch WWE.
But at the same time I wonder if Fox knows what it is getting into? I have a hard time seeing them giving up their Monday prime time hours for this one show. Plus, with that increased audience, if you think WWE has done nothing but ride the nostalgia train the last 5-10 years or so, being on Fox could turn that train into a freakin' rocket convoy. Just trying to attract new fans and bring back older ones.

I know that was a big push they had when they came back to USA was to not get booted for that stupid dog show. This will be the biggest hurdle in the whole deal. WWE doesn't ever want to be pre-empted by other programming, but FOX hauls in huge numbers for their sporting events. The ratings for the World Series alone are hard to dismiss. I love baseball. I understand some people don't, but even the LOWEST rated World Series in history (2012 - San Francisco/Detroit) averaged over 12 million viewers per game. Raw on its greatest day can't come close to that. I don't see FOX walking away from that kind of viewership. I do think the change to a national network like FOX would finally give the WWE a much-needed kick in the ass from a creative perspective. Because of that, I'm all for it.

Maybe they could work something out where raw would be on fs1 if they needed to broadcast the World Series. The World Series would only effect raw for 2 weeks in October and that’s if it even goes 7 games.

I don’t want the brand split to end so if this means the end of it I’m gonna be disappointed.

For various reasons I’ve stated in the past couple months, I think FOX is the right move for WWE. What they really need is a kick in the a$$ and USA hasn’t given it. A bigger network like FOX won’t tolerate a program with trash creative like WWE has in their prime time slot. If they do move to FOX/ FS1, it’s going to be a sink or swim situation for WWE, and if they’re pressured enough, they’ll succeed the same way they did in the Attitude Era.

Him and other TV sports “journalists” like him are more concerned with getting themselves over and making a character for themselves than the actual sports they’re supposed to be talking about.

A bigger network like FOX won’t tolerate a program with trash creative like WWE has in their prime time slot. I don't know about this. Completely unscientific and situational, but I went and looked up this last Monday's Raw ratings and Fox network ratings. Raw beat Fox, not by much but still beat them. WWE being on Fox gives the WWE the chance to quadruple their audience and ratings. As long as the WWE continues to bring in the ratings and audience, Fox isn't going to care what kind of creative is happening. In fact, I am afraid that if WWE moves to Fox, the nostalgia train will suddenly develop warp drive to try and attract new fans and bring back old ones. Being on the bigger stage will cause the WWE to try and bring back viewers. And how have they done that over the last 5-10 years? Rock, Goldberg, Raw 1000, Raw 25th, every Wrestlemania season, etc...

In principal, I don't care what network it's on as long as its reasonably accessible and good for wrestling. Honestly, I think it's pretty silly to get too caught up on what network it runs on.
