So I recently found Elite 56 at retail, but I've never seen Elite 55.
I just found Battle Packs 51 today, but I've never seen BP 50.
I've only seen Basic 78 at one store once, while I've seen plenty of Basic 79 everywhere else.
Why are we back to waves being skipped at retail? I remember Mattel had those .5 series last year to try and help with the too much of A and not enough of B. Guess some of us will have to buy half of what we want online.

This is nothing new. I've gone theough periods of missing like 10 series at retail. If it wasn't for Amazon, I'd never get elites because they stopped coming regularly to Target, TRU, or Walmart years ago. I've gone 6-8 months with one series multiple times at both Target and TRU.

The findings thread had E55 reported in a few parts of NJ, VA I think, and maybe CT, but yeah virtually everywhere went to E56. I got Taker on pre-order thankfully. I’d get Lesnar if I found him, but not a huge deal.

Last series my Walmart had was E54, no signs of 55 or 56. Might make the rounds to the other stores and give an update, but considering I get most of my figures from eBay or Ringside or Amazon, I only care about store exclusives at this point.

I saw elite 55 at a couple Walmarts, but it was a blink and you miss it scenario. Got lucky and picked up a Neville that had a blade put through the plastic when they opened the box.

I see a lot of Enzo and Cass 55 figures at Wal Mart. I think the rest just sold around me. Neville, Taker and Brock are solid figures. Ellisworth too if you’re into him
Never seen any trace of it at Target though
These are the things that end up at Big Lots and stores like that usually though. The ‘skipped’ waves

Walmart & Target employees sucks. I've seen multiple elites with razor blade cuts down the middle where the case was opened.

Targets are terrible in my area.
Walmart’s are...okay. That reset really did a number though. The section used to be a bit full but now there are all these pegs that are bare. Then you have one peg stocked with Basic and one with Elite. It’s just not good looking.
TRUs are always stoked peg wise but it’s a lot of junk. They skip series like crazy though. Right now, as I said in another post, B75 Lana is stocked about 10-16 figures at both TRUs. I found B68 Alexa a few months ago. I was going expecting to find B72 or 73 but found her and the rest of that series. It was just odd.
Meijer is the only store that stocks consistent. It just takes months. They go set by set but they will not put anything out until every figure is off the pegs. It’s reallt pathetic. I once wanted to buy all 8 Vaudvillains just to get them off the pegs.

Yeah I completely missed elite 55. I’ll never get an ABA Taker at this point

I have rarely seen a period where series came out chronologically, especially at a single retailer. I never used to miss Battlepacks in my area, but since Walmart became the only retailer and became overloaded with old stock that they only recently clearanced, I missed 3 out of 4 series. Walmart has actually been better at getting new shipments consistently the past year.
I thought anyway that Elite 55 would be part of this year's Wrestlemania shippers, and E56 (and maybe 57) would largely skip retail. If I found Gallows, Anderson, Gallagher, and Styles, I would consider myself lucky.

I’ve literally seen a single E55 Big Cass. Never saw 46 or 47A either

What’s weird is that in my area you’ll from from like elite 53 to elite 56, but with sprinkles of e54 and 55 in there.
So like you’d be able to find the entire set of e56 but only Enzo and a random Big Cass from e55. And mind you it’s not like you just missed the other figures and that’s all they had left. I’m talking about fresh restocks where it’s only like they’ve put out half sets.

My area seemed to mostly miss out on 51,52,53, and 55. Got 50,54, and 56. I'm kinda worried we might miss out on 57. I guess we'll see...

Mattel dont dictate what the stores order So you think Wal Mart set out to by year and half old E40 & E42 when they should’ve gotten E52 & E53 during Christmas ‘17?

Mattel dont just randomly send figures to stores. The store head offices order stock from order lists based on what sells. Mattel do not decide what gets sent come on

How about someone takes the initiative and contacts Mattel directly? Not just customer service, but tries to reach out for a real contact that deals with distribution.
