Woolies for a general store was great for WWF TTL figures back in the day. TTL was definitely my toy line as a kid.
I'm currently selling my Jakks Ruthless Aggression figures of the guys Mattel have made but I'm strongly considering rebuying the TTL figures if I can find them MOC (I don't want dog chewed battered figures.)
As much as the hunting is fun it's not quite the same as it was when any of us were kids. I'm not really into online buying unless it's absolutely necessary as I like to pick my own one due to deco and nothing is like the unexpected surprise of finding what you want in store.
I sadly think though that toy shops are in a state of disrepair. I have very much doubt independent shops will spring up everywhere as Smyths and the Entertainer will have filled the Toys R Us void if nobody can rescue them.

I'm quite surprised that amazon hasn't jumped on selling WWE Mattels - with Prime delivery they would directly compete with Smyths as the go-to place to buy figures

Smyth's is good but for recent elite series they seem to have had limited stock...most figures are not available for long. The ladies and some more niche flashbacks are the exceptions. But bricks and mortar stores are certainly on the wane. Hopefully the Entertainer have a fair few more surprises up their sleeves such as the recent TNF basics and Booty O's packs.

This an expensive hobby and we could do with another big company competing for custom. Everybody goes on about how cheap Amazin is, yet for wrestling figures it just looks like a scalpers paradise! I’ve never bought one off there yet.
