Man could you imagine the backlash if Reigns did what Braun did tonight.
The 1 man going for the tag belts is kind of interesting, and Braun winning would actually be kind of fun for a bit. Having a few month reign taking on 2 guys at once could be an entertaining little angle.
But what irks me is it’s WrestleMania. This seems like a Summer Slam or fall storyline. I mean the other tag teams have worked hard all year to build the division and now they’re just going to have Braun steam roll them simply because he has nothing else to do.
I mean I’m conflicted, I think it’ll be good but just don’t like the reasoning behind t.

Okay, I see how that just made every tag team on the roster look bad but it was funny as chit seeing Braun enter as a tag team of one. I'm not sure how I should feel about it. That’s how I kinda feel. One man rolling through legit tag teams you would think makes the teams look weak, and it does to an extent, but Braun is the guy to do it with. I mean Braun equaling the strength of a 2 man team works for him.

I don't mind Braun going for the Tag Titles alone at Wrestlemania. I know a lot of us regular fans would automatically find it disrespectful to the whole Tag Division let alone have it be on the biggest stage of the year. But to the casual fan that tunes in for Wrestlemania, and perhaps sees Braun for the very first time, would definitely find it interesting.

Ok I just watched RAW this morning and the two major issues I saw were... Shane being on RAW when they are supposed to be direct competition with SD and all the bad blood that is supposed to be between the brands because of the whole hijacking RAW during Survivor Series.
And the Tag Team Division. So once again the wwe kills their tag team division. It seems everytime they finally build it back up they find a new way to kill it. It’s such a shame they just don’t care about the tag team division anymore because in the 70’s-90’s it was an important focus in wrestling.

I actually loved seeing Braun destroy the tag team division.

Also I have no clue why Alexa is getting legit hate on twitter for the storyline with Nia, Alexa doesn't control the storylines and If she said no, She'd likely get buried as hell. She's only doing what she's told.

How did we go from this: To this: On a side note, I really enjoyed Roman and Cena’s promos. The same way we went from this: To this...

RAW was solid. It had it's good points and bad points:
- Roman Reigns continues to impress me. - Why on earth was Shane McMahon working backstage on RAW when he's the SmackDown Live commissioner? It's hilarious how WWE overlooked this. - The moron behind the text on-screen during entrances and promos deserves to be fired. Embarrassing presentation for a company in the 90s, let alone late 2010s. - Loving the continued slow burn between Sasha Banks and Bayley. For once, WWE are handling a feud perfectly. - As for the announcement of the Moolah Battle Royal at WrestleMania, I love the match idea, but absolutely HATE the name for it. Absolutely disgusting that WWE and Stephanie McMahon continue to glorify this disgusting human being. I'm all for this match, but they should have actually named it after someone who was at least a half-decent human being. Someone who didn't arrange for her female wrestlers to be raped, someone who didn't take a far too hefty chunk of their employee's earnings so they wouldn't be able to afford to move away from her, someone who didn't persuade promoters to blacklist anyone who didn't want to work for her, thereby creating a stranglehold on women's wrestling that held it back decades. And as for Charlotte's claims that Moolah "empowered women", that's the complete opposite of what she did. Hopefully they look at the negative reception to this match announcement, and rename it the Mildred Burke Memorial Battle Royal. - I'm starting to warm to the idea of Cena VS Taker. - Asuka is absolutely horrible on the mic, and it has nothing to do with English not being her native language. She just screams every single word in the most exaggerated manner possible, and it makes it genuinely hard to watch. - Braun Strowman taking out the entire tag team division and proclaiming himself a one man tag team to challenge for the tag team titles at WrestleMania was both hilarious and a joy to watch. Can't wait to see what becomes of this situation. - Loved seeing more of the building rivalry between Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax. Although I do think they went too far with Nia's reaction. Why is that in all women's storylines they portray female superstars as emotionally over the top in such an exaggerated fashion? If this same storyline involved male superstars, you wouldn't see a male superstar scream at the camera and then stand in a sobbing heap after being called names. Why do it for the women? I totally think Nia should have showed emotion, but I think she showed too much in this segment. It just reminded me of the diva era, and that's not good. This segment would have been much improved by ending on Nia standing there in rage, rather than standing there sobbing to the camera.

I kinda expect Angle to tell Braun he has to find a partner if he wants the tag title shot. Then we'll see the unlikely tag team that was reported. Likely candidates are Big Show, Kane, or most likely Elias. All guys who Braun has ran over in the last few months.

I don't understand why everyone's so pissed that Shane was on screen for a whole 5 seconds? Sure, in kayfabe he runs the rival brand but Roman walked straight into a place we NEVER see which added a lot of realism. At the end of the day, Shane is a McMahon and we all know he has a lot bigger role than his on screen on screen character.

Shane was there to give off the appearance that it was a shoot. Nothing more, nothing less.
I enjoyed the Nia/Alexa stuff, but I still think it may be the wrong move to go with Nia as the babyface and Alexa as the heel, given the size difference. Also, given how open Alexa has been about her past with eating disorders, and how body-positive she appears to be in real life, the fat-shaming thing is kind of a barrier in trying to buy in.
That's the problem with talent being as open and honest as they are on social media and in interviews. Selfishly, I enjoy seeing and listening to the real person behind the character, but it becomes really counter productive when you're trying to pull off an angle like this. The real Alexa is such a dramatic departure from the Alexa Bliss character that it's getting hard to maintain realism in the role they've got her in. And, in her case, it's not just her personal social media accounts, but Total Divas too.

Asuka's a great wrestler already, promos don't have to be her strong suits. That doesn't mean her promos are beyond criticism. I think she's being produced differently, too. During her time on the main roster, her promos are always framed within the context of her being hard to understand or not really grasping the language, whereas, in NXT, she was just put out there to say what she needed to say and the language barrier wasn't dangled over her head every time she opened her mouth. The framing of her promos on the main roster makes her broken English more pronounced. It's really counter productive. I love when they let her go off in Japanese, because she sounds like a total badass, which is a great contrast.

i like the idea of Braun being the tag team champions.....but its unfortunate that its going to have to be because he easily beats Sheamus & Cesaro for it. they really are taking this Braun stuff to another level.

That was one of the most fun Raws I can recall. Even though Reigns' promo was the height of 10 thousand spoons when all you need is a knife, it was still pretty damn cool to watch. Same with Cena breaking the 4th wall with Taker being human. Much of what Cena said didn't make sense either considering Taker is one of the most respected and selfless performers in the history of the business, but it was a damn compelling segment to watch!
Cannot wait for The Ultimate Deletion next week!
The Alexa stuff was pretty great too, who brought F-View back!
Awesome episode of Raw! Kudos to all involved.
